Remarks

The fee is less as compared to other engineering college. Also the environment is good for persuing hobbies and extracurricular activities. Not much study pressure. But need to improve on infrastructure and lab facilities and the quality of teaching.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The course curriculum is good for clearing all the basics and theory stuffs. But there is not much focus on research and also on practicals. Classes and labs were regularly held. But twice a week there were no lab classes only theory. Hence, it was not that much hectic.

Placement Experience

3

Placement is average. Many IT, TECH, companies visit for recruitments including startups. PSUs also conduct recruitment drive in the campus. Companies like IBM, TCS, WIPRO, Ashok Leyland, Infosys, cognizant etc visited. PSUs like OIL, NRL, Bpcl recruited students.

College Events

4.5

There is tech festival called udvabanam. Here different workshops are held in different tech disciplines. Also competitions on coding, design are held. Students can participate from all over India. Cultural event called pyrokinesis is also held. Here competitions on singing, dancing, bands, fashion are held. Students nationally participate. The event is headlined by bollywood artists, international djs, and bands q

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee is very less as it is a government college. For one year it was around Rs 12, 000. And before exams each semester we had to pay examination fees of around Rs 2000. Hence, the fees is quite feasible.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions

There were scholarships for St, OBCs and minorities. Also a scholarship called ishan uday was given to students of poor financial background of rs7800 per month. I availed a scholarship called NEC. It was given on merit basis. Amount was Rs13000 per year.

Campus Life

2.5

Maximum number of students were boys, girls very less. Workshops were held almost every month. college week is held every year where students can participate in various sports and cultural activities. Diverse students present from all races and castes. Atmosphere was very tolerant and no discrimination was made.

Alumni/Alumna

The alumni network is weak. Most of our seniors are not in touch but some of which that are in touch are very helpful in guiding the students. Seniors are helpful and they will help in all matters that may or may not be related to college including providing notes and explaining concepts.

Admission

I got admission by giving an entrance exam called CEE. I choose this college because it is the top engineering college under the state govement. Counselling was held after the exam in which students were called based on their marks. I took up the branch of Electronics and telecommunications.

Faculty

2

Some of the faculty were well qualified, everyone had post graduation degree. Some even had PhD degree. But teaching methods were not efficient of everyone. Some were good. And some bad. But the study materials were enough to clear the exams.

Placement Experience:

While my college does not offer campus placements, it emphasizes enhancing employability through various initiatives and resources. The career services department organizes workshops, seminars, and networking events to prepare students for the job market. They offer guidance on resume writing, interview skills, and professional development, empowering students to showcase their strengths effectively to potential employers. Additionally, the college fosters industry connections through guest lectures, internships, and collaborative projects, exposing students to real-world scenarios and enhancing their practical skills. These opportunities not only enrich academic learning but also increase employability by providing valuable hands-on experience. Furthermore, the college encourages students to explore entrepreneurship and self-employment avenues through incubation centers and startup support programs. They provide mentorship, funding assistance, and access to resources to nurture entr
