Entrance Preview

There was CET entrance exam.I got CET rank 5283.I chose this college as it is one of the best management colleges in Delhi and also it was close to my house.

Internships Opportunities

Only a month has passed, so still haven't got any internship experience.

Placement Experience

From what i have heard, there are great placement and job porosities.

College Events

Again only a month have passed, but they have told about us quite a few technical and cultural festivals .

Fees and Financial Aid

Have no knowledge about scholarships/loans.

Campus Life

Gender ratio is about 1:4 for girls and boys. They organised a great fresher's party. In the campus there are not many sport facilities,quite a few selection for sports event takes place in stadium in parts of Delhi. There is great diversity among students and i personally didn't hear discrimination or some illegal activity taking place.

university of delhi have have started compulsory of courses such as VAC ,SEC and many other skill enhancement courses so that you not only rely upon your degree but you enhance your Interpersonal Skills , Communication Skills ,Speaking Skills as in future all jobs and placements are skill based not degree based so for enhanceing and developing a good personality these courses played a major role. The timings of examination were between 2,30-5,30 Pm 3 hours exam water facility was provided during the exam tenure. If in case you forgot to attend or submit your either of IA/CA you may get an essential repeat er even iof you pass in the written exam .

Course Curriculum Overview:

British classics, Indian writing, postcolonial literature builds a strong foundation in literary analysis, critical thinking, and interpretation, which are useful skills. As for comprehensiveness, the curriculum is quite broad. It covers multiple literary periods, genres, and critical theories over the three years, so you’re not really missing out on the essentials. In that sense, it feels academically complete. But sometimes, it leans more towards breadth over depth you move quickly from one topic to another.

There's a placement cell and placement drives do happen in college but genuinely the package offered is not really considerable. After the 4th semester students are considered to sit in the placement drives though I would say it is not very efficient and fruitful.

Placement Experience:

Placements are available in college, the drive is quite extensive, everyone is made aware of the choices and options and counselling is present too. It is from the third year, students are eligible to apply for placements. Companies and organisations take part such as Niti ayog, Times, Geostrata, Prajatantra foundation, etc. Those who desire usually work on their CVs, keep on doi internships and then get a placement. The packages are not that impressive to be honest.

The reason why I choose this subject because I like history and want to know more about it . History have the best opportunities to pursue the UPSC , Anthropology, archeology and we can learn more about historical researches . The faculty im the department of history is updated and well versed in the field of history and have adopted student friendly teaching methods which make me suggest this subject in JMC to the students who likes to pursue higher studies in history. The exams are conducted at the end of every semester with moderate difficulty level .

I hdd 90.89 percentile in my CAT 2024 and 93.18 percentile in XAT 2025. These are very good scores and make a candidate like me eligible for top B-schools. I converted a lot of B-schools but around the time of admission I struggled with a few medical reasons and the fact that most of the B-schools were very expensive. The eligibility of the course is to have 50% minimum marks in your undergraduate. The application form, fees, and any other information regarding admission are available on thier admission portal.
