Yes oec has organized many state level seminar on mechanics workshop. It has orissa second biggest auditorium among other techbnical institutes. Many state and national level competition and seminars are held in oec.

In JEE Mains scored 78 all got all India rank 299674. I choose computer science course because I want to develop apps and learn graphic designing and love to do programming codes. If anyone want to get admissions in oec then he has to choose oec college as its first choice and lock your preferred course.

OEC has really qualified faculty with minimum qualification of each faculty is M.Tech and many HOD of different courses being already completed P.hd. The college has really good course curriculum with each subject gets completed 3 weeks prior to semester exams and college conducts doubt clearing classes after that and also does mock test like semester paper to give students how tough exam papers come. All in all it has well established faculty and course structure.

As I am still studying I have not seated in any internship but I have been told by my seniors that in internships almost every 3rd students get a job in my course which is really grt.

It is known to conduct one of the best annual function in state. It has Orissa biggest auditorium which has capacity of around 3500 people. It conducts to functions which goes on for around 8 days namely Zazen(tech fest) and zafer(cultural fest). Many well reputed bollywood artists have come and performed in oec tech fest like Abhijit majumdar,kk etc and many local comedian like papu pum pum.

Yes it has scholarship for students who have scored above 80% in both 10th and 12th board. It has special scholarship for sc,st,obc students. It gives special scholarship for students who tops the year with high percentage respectively.

OEEC has a vibrant environment senior junior talk among themselves with ease. Oec has a zero tolerance ragging law. It has also made a comitte of students to stop ragging in the college campus. It does not have any caste,race,religion issue. All religion,caste student studies nicely. It does not have any kind of in campus or off campus politics.

OEC has a large in campus hostel for boys and two off campus hostels for girls. In boys hostel it has capacity of 1500 students and in girls hostel it has 500 and 300 capacity respectively. The mess food is average in both hostels but it is a common prblm

OEC has history of grt alumni. Many seniors students come time to time during campus drive and help juniors to crack job interview.
