Remarks

Very Positive, only thing i can say if there were some modern facilities available like wifi, digital library, open curriculum center, courtyard then it would help a student more than it is helping now

I personally think this 3 year education structure with 8 specialized paper exam (2+2+4) total 800 marks is quite good and affordable for all type of students out there who want a specific honours degree from a authentic unversity.

Placement Experience

Being a history honours student we didn't get any kind of internship or direct recruitment, but i think those who have degrees on technical field or any other departments got opportunity of this facility.

College Events

The minimum events that happened on silliguri college are Saraswati puja along with annual freshers and soicial parties where we have enjoyed alot with our juniors and seniors.Bdw few more departmental events were also celebrated

Fee Structure And Facilities

Being a government undertaken college the fee structure was very affordable for all kind oglf student out there.We have to pay a single payment on annual basis after that we have to pay according to our exam structure.

Fees and Financial Aid

No I don't know about any of these facilities cause neither i have to deal with any one of this nor any of my known one.So i can't give any kind of review regarding this scholarship or loan facility.

Campus Life

Those are quite good.Siliguri college organised an annual sport along with some seasonal tournament where every student participate according to their ability.And yes I've experienced lab facilities on Siliguri college those are very good

Alumni/Alumna

Yes that helped and this little things can make a fresher student's life more easier to understand their college and surroundings.Siliguri college has a student union that helps all students from beginning of their journey to the far end

Admission

In wbsce board you have to pass 12th grade then on basis of your 12th grade marks they regulate a merit list on which you have to stand within top 100 on the specific subject you want to apply for.Thats how i got my admission.

Faculty

With some great regular teachers, a few temporary lecturers, and a HDO u can get the best educational experience, with high study material and good faculties u can earn good and deep knowledge for yourself

Stepping stone to success

Placement Experience:

Now i am pursuing BBA in final year, from the 3rd semester i gotten the opportunity for internship in Godrej. And many companies came here like Honda, Tata, Dhoot Transmission pvt ltd.etc.Atleast 90% student getting placement from here, company came here and selected the eligible students for their organization. Good for studying but should improve for recruitment

- Students become eligible for campus recruitment from the 5th semester. - Around 65% of students get placed during campus interviews. - The highest package offered to the BBA students is INR 4 LPA. The average package offered to the students is INR 3 LPA and the lowest is INR 2 LPA. - The top recruiters who visit the companies are Accenture, EY (Ernst & Young), Wipro Technologies LtdHDFC Bank Pvt Ltd, Deutsche Bank, Amazon.com Inc, Concentrix Corporation, Societe Generale, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Royal Bank of Scotland, etc. - But still, improvement in place of recruitment is highly recommended. - I want to pursue MBA after and want to commit to the business.

Positive remarks about college, they specifically take care of everyone they call at home if any student is irregular or not serious about his/her study. So everyone attends classes and lectures a minimum of 75% and teachers motivate students for their all-over growth and performance.
