Remarks

Pros- Study environment. Not much expense.Friendly.Exposure to some social and cultural activities. Cons- much away from the City-life students generally long for.Hostels and hospital premises needed to be cleaner.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

MBBS-The curriculum itself is career and practical oriented. So we don't have that much of research exposure. The labs are gradually upgrading time to time. Exam procedure is hectic.Theory and Practical are there.Externals come and grill us. We have mixed type of schedule. Some day hectic. Some day chilled.

Placement Experience

3.5

As all the MBBS course students need to complete internship. Our college is no exception.Stipend is around 25k.But due to internal and external authority failures interns never get their money on time.

College Events

2

We celebrate Saraswati Puja, Fresher's welcome, Annual Fest, Convocation, various kinds of sports tournaments to make our life here a bit more colourful.Authority help us quite a bit.Other expenses and responsibilities are taken care of by the students.

Fee Structure And Facilities

MBBS fees per sem-4500 Hostel fees- 144pa Exam Registration and others - 2000-3000pa At the time of entrance 6500 taken all together. Overall the fees is quite feasible for students from all layers of society.

Fees and Financial Aid

No I didn't have availed any scholarship from any central or state authorities. As the college is a govt one it doesn't also give any type of scholarships.Central or state govt have many scholarships but they are not college oriented.

Campus Life

3.5

Gender Ratio 65:35 Hostel parties: We do it whenever we get some time.Either inside or we get outside our whole batch together to enjoy Workshops a few here and there Well tolerated with regards to gender. No issues by ethnicity gender religion or sexual orientation.Politics has its own filthy face here too.

Hostel Facilities

2.5

Yes I have opted for the hostel.2 students share one room.Is messy and not clean.Much cleanliness work is to be done for regular basis. Avg Rent - 144pa. Rooms are airy, sunshine comes. But as it's beside the highway lots of dust come too

Alumni/Alumna

Almost no ragging. Some seniors are rough. They harass sometimes. But no physical torture culture here.Seniors are helpful with their books, notes, they guide us in tough times. We share best moments play sports games.

Admission

I wanted to be a doctor.I chose MBBS.I had to prepare for it hard.I got through NEET Exam.I had two choices All India and State Quota.I got a general rank at the lower range and got admission in this college through General Quota.

Faculty

3.5

Pros- they try to deliver us the most of the knowledge to their capacity at our best ease. They give us time and space. Not too much strict or rough behaviour.Mixes us with a great extent. Cons- some are busy with their practising doesn't invest that much of time.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well, mbbs is very hard and long term process. You will be bored in 1st year because you cant get real clinical cases. But in Final year, 3rd Prof Part 2, you will get huge pressure. Because there are total 11 subjects, you should study in final year. It is a great burden for all. I'm not satisfied with Nmc curriculum. They are not thinking about students. They are implement their rules in chilled ac room. But they don't know the real scenarios.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is very noble. It gives us the power to heal others. When I was a child, i was impressed by the ability and skills of a doctor. The patient family were treating him like god. So i decided to pursue it because of the amount of respect and wealth we gain. In the real world it helps us to become a good person, interact with the injured society and connect to the people emotionally. Teaching methods could be improved by giving more and more real life examples and exposing to the wards and clinics. Learning is more fun when we do more practicals. The college must ensure that more and more practical classes and clinical exposure is given to the students so that they can learn effeciently. The cases of the cirriculum should be given to the students to look how they handle it.

The concept of education is misunderstood my many students. Students want to study in order to make money and become rich so that they can fulfill their wants. Similarly money is invested by parents in terms of the amount of investment it will reap in the future. Because of this reason females are not given much higher education in our country.
