College Review

The overall college management is good and every part of the college is well taken care of.

The course curriculum and exam structure are fair, as it is closely related to the concept of chemical engineering. The first year is generally introductory, as it includes areas from many departments. Industrial visits were also organized to help students gain more experience.

The placement of our college is good, with several companies recruiting people. The companies that are Ion Exchange, CSG International, Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Ltd etc.

College fests, where people from both inside and outside the college ate allowed to participate. Cultural fests are also observed for people of different backgrounds. Several department and national level competitions are also held. Visits from the main college body are also observed.

The fee structure is feasible, especially for non-management students, as it costs lesser. No additional fees were required to enter the college, and the college was very transparent in fee- breakdown. Other fees, such as bus, hostel, canteen and other facilities are also fine.

I have not opted for any scholarship or educational loan. The college does offer scholarships to those who want it.

Campus life is good, as there are no problems which occurred. The gender ratio is varied in different departments but in overall is nearly equal. Extracurricular activities are also good as there are a lot of participants from both inside and outside the college and the competition is very high.

The alumni network and senior students are very helpful, and there is no bad atmosphere present in the college.

I chose chemical engineering as I was interested in it. MVJ college was one of the colleges to offer me admission from my CET marks. The reasons for choosing this college is the relative cost and distance as I am a day- scholar. The admission procedure was done after arriving at the college and reviewing the facilities available.

The faculty of our college are good and are experienced in their topics. Their teaching is good and can be easily understood. The lecturers have relevant industry experience as they are well versed in their topics. They are helpful and take the time to answer any doubts.
