Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum is pretty thorough and consisted of a perfect mix between the theory classes and practical classes. The curriculum is pretty vast and we learn something new and practice it a lot. College library is sufficient enough and has enough reference books to help us study for the exam.
Placement Experience
Placements assistance is not provided as such, but the college also has a fully functional hospital, where medical facilities are provided at pretty affordable prices. Students can do their internship in the hospital itself, and some of the students are appointed here only.
Fee Structure And Facilities
For the first year, I paid around 4.7 lacs as my fee. While for the proceeding years I paid around 2.3 lacs on annual basis. Fee structure was at par with the industry standards. Though the institute also offers many scholarship options for the needy students.
Fees and Financial Aid
Scholarships are awarded to the students on the basis of their academic performance. Interested student has to apply and present all the relevant documents. Students from economically weaker background are also eligible for availing scholarships.
Hostel Facilities
Residential accommodations are provided to the students. I am currently staying in the hostel itself. Separate hostels are provided for boys and girls. Hostel rooms are spacious and washrooms are hygienic. Overall hostels are good and would be great for someone coming to study from outstation.
Admission
Admissions are granted on the basis of the NEET-UG exam scores. A merit list is prepared on the basis of NEET scores. So higher you score more will be your chances of securing a seat since the number of seats for the UG program is limited here.
Faculty
Faculty was pretty qualified and talented. Most of them were phd holders and they had lot experience in medical practice. They motivated us to take initiatives during the practical sessions. This boosted my confidence a lot and helped me adapt right state of mind for being a surgeon.
