Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

the reason i chose this course was solely based on the purpose of fulfilling my parents' wishes and the fact that its a reputable course and that you can earn moneya s well as respect. the curriculum recently changed for us, regarding the NEXT exam, but i'd say it's a good thing as it'll keep us on our toes to prepare for it. areas of improvement in the curriculum aren't really needed but the teaching staffs sometimes need to put their ego and feelings aside and teach the class the way they are supposed to. frequency and timings of the exams are quite apt. we get enough time to study for upcoming exams and they are well spaced, timely.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

the intership given here is good. there is enough rotation in all departments. stipend given is enough, around 15 K if i'm not wrong. student gets to learn what they came for. payment can be cut if you miss a day, but you can make up for it at the end.

Fees and Financial Aid

tuition fee is obviously high, 23 L per year, but there no increment per year. apart from that, an added amount should be given for your uniform and records,a nd personally you might need to spend on books. no scholarships are given. if you manage to get a seat through a third party, chances are that you might get in for less. fiancial aids may include student loans, as far as i am aware. in intership, a good amount of stipend is provided.

Campus Life

2

this college doesnt really give mcuh importance to social events or cultural events. very less social events, even the sports event that finally took place, happened for the first time this year only. not much importance is given to festivals like Holi, Diwali or Dusshera. If anything, students are even barred from celebrating these inside campus. extracurricular activities aren't much. college only mainly focuses on the academics. the library is actually quite decent, there is availability of many books, and i feel like you can find whatever you are looking for related to your course.

Hostel Facilities

3

the room is big and spacious. it is cleaned every alternate day, including the bathroom. ac and non ac rooms are available. too high of a hostel fee is charged, in my opinion, as you can get a nice furnished 1 bhk flat outside campus, at much lower rates. food used to be okay, but now not so much. since the campus is on the way of a highway, not much can be found around.

Admission

eligibilty is as long as you're above the NEET eligible score, that is, 130 if i'm not wrong. everything related to the college is given on the NMC site. no reservation benefits, as far as i'm aware. during admission, the ones handling the admission process at the college were a bit unpleasnt, but that was all, it went smoothly.

Faculty

3.5

there are quite a lot of faculties over here. the professors and the HODs are quite good and knowledgeble and of reputable posts from their pasts. most and all of them hold very good credentials. the teaching is quite fulfilling, there's pros and cons to that as well, but i'd say it's a 70/30 ratio of that. mentors are appointed every year, which is a good way to keep track of sudents' progress. teachers are mostly always free to interact with, and when done so, help out the sudents really well.

Course Curriculum Overview:

the course is very challenging obviously as we're studying to become doctors. it could've been better by increasing the duration of the course. our first year/ semester instead of it being for 12 months was only of 9-10 months so our portions are being pushed a little. it happened due the scam etc around neet and our course start date was pushed. the course could be made easier by increasing the duration of the course. we have exams every week which does make it easier to keep up with the portions but makes it too stressful for us. maybe instead of keeping exams on monday they could change it to saturday so we can relax and be free on sundays.

Placement Experience:

The students in their internship will get around 35000 per month excluding their mess fees, they have the option to opt out of the mess. And once they finish their internship they had to do two years bond in places where the colleges allot them and the salary for those two years will be decided by the place the person goes and itll be definitely more than what they get during internship.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The college strictly follows NMC rules and which is a very good thing as it helps us prepare for both theory and practical as theory give u the vast knowledge and practical allows us to imply what we learnt and also after the new rules of introducing histology we can also apply the idea of more creativity in a field a lot of creativity is yet to be unfolded they also cover important aspects through regular workshops and educate us with guest lectures from other colleges the important improvement which should be done is having the patience to teach a. Crowd of 250 which teachers should undergo special 2-3 classes to make sure they know what they teach is being reached out to everyone the timing of exam and everything is on time theh give us enough time to prepare and get ready
