Course Curriculum Overview

In terms of relevance and comprehensiveness, the course curriculum and faculty is really good, it's made the study easier, very easy to understand, not really boring, and interestingly presented. Good cooperation.

Internships Opportunities

The internship opportunities are really intriguing as the incoming patient flow is good and a good amount of exposure is available for practice of the work.. this college has many sister colleges of the same group of founders which helps in more exposure for the student

Fees and Financial Aid

MBBS can be studied with a minimal fee of 55000 in government colleges but ACS being a deemed University collects 23 lacs which is a high of budget for the infrastructure this college provides

Campus Life

Campus Life in a medical college is a bit boring compared to other courses as there will be a lot to study and very little time to enjoy but if properly balanced mbbs is a wonderful course in ACS.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel Life at ACS medical college is wonderful. there is not much ragging in the hostel and students can enjoy their life during their course in this college. extracurricular activities like sports are very much active here

The admission process takes place through the MCC portal for the qualifiers of neet UG exams. we have to select the deemed University and pay a 2lacs deposit which will be refunded after the admission process

Faculty

The faculty is cooperative for the students who need help and find it difficult to cope up with the studies. All the faculty are good qualified doctors who understand and empathise with the students

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum is relevant to the course . Dissection halls help you to understand the anatomy of body. Physiology help to understand the basic metabolism in the body. Pathology and microbiology help to understand the pathophysiology of diseases. Medicine, surgery, obgy, etc are in the final year. Overall every department plays role in diagnosing, treating and preventing the diseases.

Since 2019 , we are following the new CBME curriculum which includes SDL, AETCOM which makes the students to think beyond the books and makes us to search for more details in various sources for a single topic.This improves our clinical knowledge also.

Course Curriculum Overview:

the course is very challenging obviously as we're studying to become doctors. it could've been better by increasing the duration of the course. our first year/ semester instead of it being for 12 months was only of 9-10 months so our portions are being pushed a little. it happened due the scam etc around neet and our course start date was pushed. the course could be made easier by increasing the duration of the course. we have exams every week which does make it easier to keep up with the portions but makes it too stressful for us. maybe instead of keeping exams on monday they could change it to saturday so we can relax and be free on sundays.

Life in CMC

Placement Experience:

The students in their internship will get around 35000 per month excluding their mess fees, they have the option to opt out of the mess. And once they finish their internship they had to do two years bond in places where the colleges allot them and the salary for those two years will be decided by the place the person goes and itll be definitely more than what they get during internship.

The college strictly follows NMC rules and which is a very good thing as it helps us prepare for both theory and practical as theory give u the vast knowledge and practical allows us to imply what we learnt and also after the new rules of introducing histology we can also apply the idea of more creativity in a field a lot of creativity is yet to be unfolded they also cover important aspects through regular workshops and educate us with guest lectures from other colleges the important improvement which should be done is having the patience to teach a. Crowd of 250 which teachers should undergo special 2-3 classes to make sure they know what they teach is being reached out to everyone the timing of exam and everything is on time theh give us enough time to prepare and get ready

I applied to saveetha ramchandra psg etc and I did get all the colleges I applied for but I choose this because this was way more cheaper and affordable compared to other colleges which had hidden charges and year I wasn't rejected in any college I applied for the admission, process is simple u have to pass NEET with a good decent percentile during counselling I had applied this as my 5th preference and I got all my preferred colleges so I choose ACS since it was good and compact admission experience was pretty nice they explained me how this course is for the next 5.5 years and asked me if I can take up the job since it's not gonna be as easy as other courses...Read More
