Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Course syllabus should be more than a straightforward list of topics, readings, and examination dates for a particular course, although, clearly this information is important. The best syllabi also outline the settings, conditions, expectations, and performance criteria for students in the course (see for example, Grunert 1997) instructors should provide a syllabus on the course website, and on the first day of the course, so that students can decide with full knowledge whether they wish to stay enrolled in the course. Helpful suggestions regarding likely syllabus content are given in the attached box.

Internships Opportunities

Though the role was unpaid, it was still strategic, results oriented, and extensive and it very much shaped and prepared me for the internship the gray wool suit interview would grant me, the full time job at the same organization that came after that and all those that followed. My now seven years experience writing effective resumes that land interviews for both myself and my a Jayne Writes clients as well as coaching them in successful interview tactics that seal the deal has revealed to me three simple steps for turning internship and volunteer experience into career fuel.

Placement Experience

2

Summer placements are the love child of a summer internship and an industrial placement whilst a summer internship might only last a few weeks, a placement has got summer covered lasting between ten and 12 weeks, many companies use summer placements as a sort of extended job interview, inviting the best candidates back to take a role with the company after graduation, or fast tracking them in the graduate recruitment process in short, summer placements are an excellent way of gaining great work experience, getting a foot in the door of a company, improving your commercial awareness, developing technical skills and building up contacts in your industry of choice.

College Events

3.5

Our country is diverse and amazing, so are the festivals hosted by the colleges here without college festivals, our college life would feel incomplete exciting and chaotic, they add to the fun quotient to our lives. Love them, or hate them, but you gotta agree, without the annual college festivals, college life would never be the same.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choosed this course because of its business management and entrepreneurship aspects. The curriculum covered alot of topics, but it didnt prepare me well for real world applications. It lacked practical training and industry exposure. I wish they had more case studies, projects and internships. The course needs improvement in some areas, like more practical training, updated curriculum and industry guest lectures .
