Likes
- The building of college is huge . It contains several rooms. Every room is properly furnished and contains electronic equipments for study.
- The teachers & professors of this college are very supportive & they are well qualified.
Dislikes
- The canteen of college is very small and offers short options of food. Quality of food is not well and sometime the mess of canteen can be seen.
- There are two washrooms in every floor & a separate for teachers. These washrooms are not well cleaned and there is issue of hygiene.
Course Curriculum Overview
I choosed this course because of its business management and entrepreneurship aspects. The curriculum covered alot of topics, but it didnt prepare me well for real world applications. It lacked practical training and industry exposure. I wish they had more case studies, projects and internships. The course needs improvement in some areas, like more practical training, updated curriculum and industry guest lectures .
Fees and Financial Aid
The duration of whole course is 3year and it is semester wise . Every semester has fee structure one semester cost is 7000+300 rs. It includes sports fund also. The tution fee is around 1200 per month. There are other charges also like lab fees 250 per semester and development fee 300 per semester.
Campus Life
Our college has a lot of festivals and events. We have annual festivals and cultural events in February and March.The library has a lot of books, journals, and online resources. Students can access online journals and databases from the library website.Our classrooms are well equipped with projectors, screens, and audio-visual aids. We have smart classrooms, Wi-Fi connectivity, and digital boards. We have sports facilities for cricket, basketball, football, and volleyball.
Admission
The admission process at Himachal Pradesh University is simple. You need to have 10+2 or equivalent with 50% marks. They accept HP CET, JEE Main, and other state-level entrance exams. Most students prefer HPU. The cutoffs vary by course, but it's around 70-80% for BBA. The admission process is online, and they also consider academic records and personal interviews.
Faculty
The faculty members are very approacbable. They are also very supportive and he's many poor students. But several time they made mistakes in decisions and delays many activities also. The exam system of my course is based on semester. Every semester ends with a exam teachers also takes house exams helps to give assesment. Many times teachers takes teast also and there is practical. The practical helps to gain real life working experience.
Night Life
College life is all about balance. We attend classes, study, and then unwind. Our college has a lot of hangout spots. The gym is a great place to relieve stress and stay fit. It's open until late evening. The cafeteria is perfect for meeting friends. It's open until 8-10 PM. The library is a quiet spot for studying or reading books. It's a great place to focus and learn.
