Each semester has two examination. One is internal and other is external. Internal exam is of 50 marks and main exam is of 100 marks. Examination are conducted in Month of December and April. Examination takes placd in college itself.

The institute offers 100% placement to the students. More than 50 hotels and retail companies visit the institute every year. The minimum salary offered was Rs. 7,500 per month, the maximum salary offered was Rs. 30,000 per month, and the average salary was Rs. 8,500 per month. Cabin crew jobs are also offered here.

1. Lohri 2. Fest celebration - This is 5 days function which takes place during the month of March every year. Whole college is responsible for organizing the fest. 3. Independent Day 4.Republic Day 5. Alumi meet - Takes place every year in September in which all the passed students are invited who have completed 25 years.

If one is doing Bsc he or she has to pay total ? 3.5 lakhs fees that had to pay in each semesters that is in 6 installment. Hostel fee is ? 40000/- annual which includes mess fees also. For diploma fee is ? 30000/- annually.

College don't provide the loan or scholarship. They help in getting the scholarship that are offered by various state government. College have tie up with Punjab National Bank which provide loan to college student. First installment has to paid by students itself.

The institute has two blocks, i.e., south and north blocks. There are facilities like 15 lecturer hall, four food production labs, 3 Front office labs, food and beverages labs , accommodation labs. There is two computer labs. One can play volleyball in the field.

Alumni meet takes place every year. Seniors are very helpful. They always support juniors whenever required. Seniors are like big brothers to juniors. Various alumni are at very good place in there respective organization.

For B.Sc. program at IHM Lucknow candidates must have passed HSC (10+2) examination with minimum 50% marks and English as a subject. Admission to B.Sc. is granted on the basis of NCHMCT JEE score followed by counselling. Candidates seeking admission to Diploma courses must have completed HSC (10+2) with English as one of the main subjects. For Diploma courses, selection of an applicant is based on the merit obtained in the qualifying examination.

All the teaching faculty members are highly qualified. Institute has one of the best India's food and beverage faculty among all the IHM. The faculty has their owned unique style of teaching. All the faculty member have a lot of experience in teaching. There is more than 25 teaching staff.
