I am studying the course computer science and this is very good course to get a good job.there are lot of exams,lab exam,internal exam,Viva and University exam.the University exam is very tough, because the valuation is very tough.

Yes,my college conducted lot of placements and my college providing internship in each year.in my computer science department get the overall placements.cs is the main course in my college and high results in cs department.

College Events

Batch day,arts day,onam celebration, sports and workshops are conducting in my college every year.batch day is celebrating one day and sports is always starts in Friday, Saturday and sunday.arts day is very enjoyable.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure in my college is feasible.because I got a merit seat.this seat get a low amount.fee structure in my college not expensive understand.fee structure is feasible in my college.vowels ariyamo.

Fees and Financial Aid

I have get a stipend in my college and not getting any other scholarship.but in my block punchayath I have got.there is no loan offered me by my college or availed.i don't know anything about this loan facility.

Extracurricular activities are nss,tech fest and iedc workshops and asap available in my college.sports is celebrating fantastic.In sports get an activity point by any event first or second get.labs are very bore ,but it's okay.these are very good.

Alumini and senior students are helpful.alumini's are participating in my college event by financialy.they are the strength in college.financially supporting to do good things.yesterday a house is builded.

Attended entrance exam and got a better rank.then i send an application in college by online with my full qualifications details.then the college was invited me to join.I join my college after all procedures completed.

we are eligible for placement from the 7th sem. Many famous and small compines vist our college. Infosys, WIPRO, TCS vist our college. But the big companies take only few student. Highest package was 1,00,000. And the average package is around 4,00,000. Almost all students gets placed from the campus .

My Experience at NIT Calicut

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.

Placement Experience:

The placements here are quite good, but not great. Because only 50% of students in a class are getting placed. From S7 onwards the placements have been started for our department. But for other departments, from S8 only companies have arrived. For CSE department, many companies are coming which include Cognizant, SOTI, Mitsogo, EY, 6D Technologies, etc. Our senior batch students have placed at many companies in this. But comparing with other senior batches, the placements at our batch is really bad.

Firstly I had applied for numerous colleges ranking from college of engineering Trivandrum to Rajahiri college, even though my KEAM rank was around 13k I did not have the scope of getting into ourely government colleges, then was the possibility of going into IHRD colleges and least ranked government colleges and the private colleges, but studying for 12 years in a private college made me think otherwise, then I had the option of the IHRD and least cutoff ranked government colleges, during my first allotment I got intro this college but under electronics department later during the second allotment it changed to computer science department and same suring the third allotment, this college is about two hours away from my hometown, and reachable by train, the other factors were this college was highly recommended by my cousin aunt who is a professor in model engineering college Thrikkakara....Read More
