Kerala's top engineering college

There are many positive vibes in our college. The big greenery is the main attraction of campus. Since our college is the best engineering college in Kerala, every front line companies are came here for recruitment. So we got good placement facilities. We have good freedom in the campus. Totally I like this college.

Course curriculum is good. There is 6 semesters. Each having 5 theory paper and labs. Internal marks of 40 and external exam mark of 60 total out of hundred. Internal marks are calculated by the 2 series exams and the assignments.

College of Engineering Trivandrum is the first engineering college in Kerala. This college have a very well known former students. Most of them are well known in their field and they good designations in different companies. So opportunities to do internship in their companies.Here we get lots of India famous multinational companies.

There are mainly three fests in our college. Disha, Drishti,Dwani. And there are many technical competitions. We get opportunities to participate in all events. These events are led by the students. So students can improve their organisational skills.

MCA course have 7000 rupees fee per semester. It is very comfortable , since this is a government college, there is no other academic expenses. And students also get scholarships and stipends through various government departments. So fee structure is very comfortable.

Government of Kerala and Central Government of India are providing many scholarships. The notifications of these scholarships are noticed in college. So we got aware about the scholarships. Banks are also gives loans to students. The amount of money is depended on the fee structure.

We are getting many stages to express our extra curricular activities.Here we have indoor stadium and physical education. Different clubs are very actively working. Cycling club,film club, entrepreneur cell etc. College have good lab facilities.

I didn't opt hostel. I think hostel facilities are not good. and I joined in a private hostel. College hostel is not large enough. It only contain a limited number of students. There are only 5 percentage accommodation for Post graduation students

Since college of engineering Trivandrum is the first engineering college and top one engineering college in Kerala,we have good collection of alumnis. There is an actively working alumni association. Called CETAA. Every year there is alumini meeting. And alumni also give donations for many programmes in CET.

There was a entrance exam conducted in july first week.This entrance exam is conducted by LBS centre Kerala. Then got 12th rank in MCA entrance exam. Then I got allotment in CET.When I got allotted , I have to pay a fee of 7000 in bank. After that I came to college and joined here.

Educated and skilled. They got the job through the teachers exams. So they are very talented qualified. But they are strict so students get freedom to express their views and get opportunities to improve their personality skills.
