Course Curriculum Overview
My course is CSE, its the most trending course in the market right now with almost every sector using the base of the technology which we study in our Btech. We get to learn C, Data structure, Java, Dbms, OS, Digital Logic, Toc along with some non technical subject like Economics, Value and Ethics.
Placement Experience
As my college is under Techno Group so we have a pool placement here, the companies approach the Salt Lake campus of Techno in Kolkata ,then the company comes there and then every college under Techno send its student for sitting in the campus and then the procedure is followed. And our college doesn't provide any internship opportunities, the onus for it is on students by themselves.
College Events
There are many events that are celebrated in our college like Fresher's, Tech Fest, Cultural Fest, Annual sports, Holi, FLASH-A welcome event for fresher's along with it the biggest celebrations called EXAM is also celebrated.
Fee Structure And Facilities
It's feasible, average fees is about 35 thousand per semester including library, sports fees. Along with it we pay an amount of Rs1200 every sem for exam fees. As our college is in village so we have less fees.
Fees and Financial Aid
No, our college doesn't offer anything.If anyone wants loan then he has to apply to bank or to the government as many government like in Bihar there is student credit card scheme for loan going on. We have to pay interest for the loan too.
Campus Life
Labs are good especially the Computer labs, Ece labs don't have much instruments and whatever they have they are less in numbers. Mechanical labs also have the same problem of less machine because of which on a single machine many students are there.
Alumni/Alumna
Depends on the network of the student of the college with the seniors, if the relations is good then yes they are helpful be it in wrong or good things. If the relation is not good then they act like just an adviser.
Admission
I got here by giving WBJEE exam,then on the basis of the rank i got this college in the councelling.After that i came to the college,they verified my 10th,12th result, rank card and other documents and took admission simple.
Faculty
Frankly speaking, our college faculty are not so good that we get the knowledge about a particular subject by just going to the college. We have to refer to youtube for understanding the topics. Our faculties might have the knowledge but they don't know how to deliver, how to make a subject interesting expect a handful who actually know.
