Remarks
The collge is well built with an extremely beautiful campus and good arrangements for labs, sports and food. Faculty is good and placements are decent enough. If anyone is planning to pursue their B. TECH from this college, you can go for it.
Course Curriculum Overview
Curriculum is vast and somewhat not that relevant to the topics.Exam structure is good with decent gaps between two exams. We had 6 subjects every semester with internal and final exams for each subject. The internals comprised 30 marks and finals were worth 70.
Placement Experience
Placements are somewhat okay since there aren't much companies apart from one or two IT giants coming to the college. Internship has to be managed yourself since college doesn't provide internship. Stipend depends and varies between companies.
College Events
There are quite a lot of events organised in BCET. There is an e-cell for National Entrepreneurship Network (NEN) which keeps on organizing events for innovative ideas and business modules for budding entrepreneurs. There is a club for social activities as well named Asha which organizes camps and seminars for social awareness.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Feasible. A four year course for B. Tech costs near about 4 lakhs and MBA, MCA, MTECH prices vary every year. I don't have much knowledge about the hostels as such since i was enrollled in the B. Tech program but as I have heard from others, fees for other courses weren't that expensive either.
Fees and Financial Aid
There isn't any scholarship or loan facility offered by the college. You can opt for an educational loan from any private or government bank but be careful about the interest rates since banks charge a hefty interest for education loans.
Campus Life
Labs are good and well equipped with all necessary equipments and devices that are required throughout the course. Sports are subjective since although there are basketball courts, open fields of outdoor games, play material has to be procured yourself.
Alumni/Alumna
Alumni network isn't that strong to be honest. Once you are out of the college, you are done for good. We didn't seek help from alimni members since we didn't need to and I don't think anyone would. Life in this college is straight forward without any fuss.
Admission
Answer the WBJEE or NEET exam and you can get a branch of your choice based on the rank you secure. Do note that management quota exists here too like other colleges and its purely on first come, first serve basis
Faculty
Faculty is vastly experienced with subject matter experts in all branches. They teach you cohesively and expect utmost attention for the best results you can get. Doubt clearance is good amongst the faculty and they listen to your questions attentively.
