Nitin Yadav's Review On DMS - Department Of Management Studies IIT, New Delhi

The management of the college is very good. Every thing is very organised and goes through proper process. There is high accountability for each and every action that is taken in DMS.

I appeared for CAT 2013 and scored 94.93 percentile. DMS, IIT Delhi is one of the premiere B-Schools of our country and selects few students from a wide pool. Therefore, the teacher student ration is excellent and the college provides one of the best ROI based on the fee we need to pay.

The curriculum is exhaustive and is reviewed periodically. The faculty college are highly experienced and have a rich background in the corporate as well. The course curriculum is very exhaustive and students are always in the midst of things. Recently our curriculum was reviewed and my juniors are having a completely new curriculum and courses. All the important and relevant courses are covered in this institute.

The college provides summer internship placements to all of the students. The average standard is very high and can is comparable to the best B-Schools across India. The profiles offered are very niche and provides the students to experience the corporate world and interact with the decision makers within organizations.

For our seniors over 50 companies came for recruitment for a batch of 60. The highest offered salary was around 22 lakhs. The placement and job opportunities at DMS are plenty. Very big names in the industry were there from domains of marketing, finance, IT, operations etc. The average hovered around 16 lpa.

DMS organizes its annual business summit, Building India Inc., usually in the month of April and organizes its annual cultural festival, Parivartan, in the month of February.

The fee structure is very nominal and so is the hostel and mess fee. The fee is around 4 lakhs for the complete 2 years and the mess fee is 16,500 per semester.

Our college has ties ups with various banks which readily offers loan facilities to the students. The top performers are also eligible for scholarship opportunities.

The gender ratio has improved over the years as the college has now started accepting students from diverse background and not just with engineering background. The gender ratio is improving with every incoming batch, For the junior batch the ratio of male to female is about 3:1. There are Strategy labs, Behavioural labs for the MBA students.

Each hostel is equipped with world class gym and indoor games facility. Apart from that we have football and cricket grounds in the campus. There are badminton courts, tennis courts, basketball courts, cricket practice pitches .

There are several alumni meet being organized round the year in different cities which ensure continuous communication with our alumni. The induction process of the juniors is completely handled by the seniors.

The faculty is really fantastic. They are jovial and highly professional too. Their expertise on the subject matter is unparalleled.
