The syllabus is up-to-date and diverse which covers most hot topics like Machine Learning, Artificial intelligence, Cloud computing, Big Data, Data mining and basics like multiple programming languages and Data structures, software engineering methodologies.

Placements and job opportunities are best part. TCS,Infosys, Accenture, Cognizant like companies do mass recruitments and better packages will be provided if you can prove your capabilities. Here you won't be missed if you are eligible.

Mainly there is two fests conducted here. Technical fest called Drishti which is one of the best technical event in state And cultural event called Dhwani is also awesome by variety of events. Other various technical,sports and arts activities are conducted by departments and respective clubs.

Is a government college hence you have lowest fee and multiple scholarships are provided. Most of the students get scholarships like E-grantz,Samunnathi and even if you don't have any scholarship fee is below fifteen thousand for a year.

E-grantz scholarship is available for backward community students and Samunnathi scholarship for general category students. You can avail Educational loan from most banks with help of college administration.

Interdepartmental tournaments are conducted for football, Badminton,chess and other sports items. Sargam fest is conducted for arts competitions. also Tharangam fest for PG students have art competitions only for PG students.

Hostel faculty is available still post graduation students have less allocated rooms. There are many private hostels nearby the college and houses for rent. The hostel facility provided by the college is good and its within the campus.around 500 rooms are available for boys and 500 for girls.

Notable alumni of our college includes G. Madhavan Nair, former chairman, Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) and Sajan Pillai, CEO of UST Global and film directors like Basil joseph,Jayaraj. Many former students of CET are working in head of MNCs. Alumni association provides support for research and job opportunities.

Admission was based on entrance examination conducted by LBS centre for MCA under KTU colleges. KTU allows Lateral entry scheme for students who have CS background which you can directly join into Fourth semester which i preferred and the regular admission. You have to secure good ranks in the entrance exam to join here because it is one of the top most colleges for MCA course in the state.

Faculty are qualified and experienced. Supportive for project works and other academic activities like tech fests,work shops,etc. Still we have to put our own effort to beat the wast subjects and complex problems. You are your best master.
