Remarks
The positive remark that I would give is that the college is rennovating and developing very fast. Our director is playing a crucial role. Moreover this year free GATE Classes are being organized by the college, where it provide with best faculty members from all over India. Though the infrastructure is not quiet good but it is rennovating and hope it will become best in Jharkhand state in the coming years. Overall, I can say that our college is a good college in every aspect.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course B.tech is a technical degree, which is of 4 years in which there are 8 semesters. There are various branches in which you can pursue the B.tech degree i.e., Mechanical, Electrical, etc. There are 8 semesters in this degree. In each semester there are happens two midems of 20 marks, out of two the best one is selected and sent to the board. Then the end semester exam is of 70 marks which is conducted JUT (Jharkhand University of Technology) board. There are viva also in some subjects.
Placement Experience
The placement scenario is average type. It is not very good nor it is very bad. The average placement package is about 5-7 lakhs per annum. No, the college do not provide internships, you have to do the internships of your own. In the third year you have to apply to Vocational Training, which is essential for every job seeking candidate.
College Events
The Cultural Fest: 1. Fresher Of the Year Competition (FOYC) 2. BITAANSH Technical Fest: 1. SANDHAAN 2. Tech Udbhav 3. Triveni 4. Hackathon and Coding Club (HnCC) And, workshops are also organized all around a year.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure of our college is feasible. The academic fee is about Rs. 7700 per annum. The miscellaneous fee is Rs. 8000 per annum. The electricity fee is Rs. 2000 per annum. The hostel fee is Rs. 5000 per annum and the mess fee is Rs 3000 per month. Then there is exam fee which each student has to give at the time of his end semester exam of around Rs. 2000.
Fees and Financial Aid
There is scholarships offered by our college who scores well and tops the semester exam, in each branch. Then there is scholarships offered by government through college named as e-kalyan. Then there also scholarships given to us through college for minorities in the college.
Campus Life
In our college extra different courses are available like SIEMENS LAB by DesignTech, which is very good for students, where we learn NX Design, CAD, ROBOCAD and etc. The labs are well maintained and well structured. There are many clubs that organizes different online quiz, coding competition and business events. Overall we can say that it is quiet good.
Alumni/Alumna
The alumni network is very good in our college. They support every college events. In providing reference support in vocational training. They always guide in getting good interships also. The seniors here, also help us to in academics and interships stuffs also.
Admission
When I took admission in this college, it use to have an entrance exam named JCECE. I qualified it and got admission in this college. This exam is conducted only for students of Jharkhand. Now, the rules have been changed and no such exam is organized. Now, from this year students get admission through merit list generated by Jharkhand council on basis of Jee Mains marks.
Faculty
The faculty of my college is quiet good. The teacher are PhD holders and they coordinate very well with other faculty members also. They always support the students in every aspect of life. They give their best efforts to help each student. In labs also they help us a lot. In our branch teacher discusses the GATE questions which is very helpful for GATE aspirants.
