College Events

2

24/48-hour film festival Anyone can make a short movie with the user-friendly digital tools at our disposal today, and college students love their newfound freedom to stay up all hours of the night. Give them the opportunity to create something awesome with that time. Come up with a list of themes and some basic ground rules on length and subject matter. Themes get handed out based on a lottery, and teams have 24 or 48 hours to complete their film. Pick a day to showcase entries in a theater setting, complete with snacks and awards. College-friendly cooking classes Cooking classes keep students healthy and prepare them to start being more self-sufficient. But make sure your cooking classes have an enticing theme and plan dishes that are easy, cheap, and college-student friendly: mac n’ cheese, stir fry, homemade ramen, or pho.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The MBBS course fee varies with instituitions. For a Central Government funded instituitions like AIIMS the course may be really nominal like Rs. 10,000 per annum but for other institutes like All India Quota, it may cost between Rs. 50,000- 2 Lakhs per annum.

Fees and Financial Aid

Several education instituitions to provide the scholarship to the MBBS students. IOCL Scholarship. MOMA Scholarships. Central Sector Scholarship Scheme for College & University Students. North South Foundation Scholarship. ONGC Scholarship for SC/ST Students. LIC Scholarship. NTPC Scholarship (Only for SC/ST & PH Candidates)

Campus Life

4

Preparing for medical school demands displaying your passion for both medicine and helping others. Like medical schools, other graduate school programs (think: business or law) require strong grades, test scores, leadership experience, and resumes. But medical school requires so much more than that. Good extracurricular activities for medical school are a particularly important part of the application process.

Alumni/Alumna

Nationwide Education and Scholarship Test (NEST Senior) 1st and 2nd year students of MBBS/BAMS/BHMS/BDS/Engineering or other courses and class 12 (Science stream) can apply under category 'Senior I'. 3rd and 4th year students can also apply under 'Senior II' category.

Admission

The Facilities over here are really talented, supportive, motivating and friendly. This college has its own way of updating students for their incredible growth. Entrepreneurship are really encouraged and college does its support to students to motivate their interest. The hostel life is upto its mark

Faculty

The best thing about Wabash is the sense of community created by the campus. Students, faculty, staff, and alums all share a common thread that enhances a feeling of belonging for people who want to be a part, despite a wide array of differences among Wabash's constituents. Men intermingle regardless of fraternal allegiance, or lack thereof, race, belief, or hometown. That being said, I would change the growing student preference for groups that seem to encourage forming and sticking to one group as opposed to belonging to multiple social organizations.

Course Curriculum Overview:

the curriculum “is well-planned … as per NMC (National Medical Commission) guidelines.” Practical classes are included daily alongside theory. “practicals are also included each day along with theory classes.” The AETCOM (Attitude, Ethics, Communication) component is explicitly mentioned, which is good because it shows attention to non-technical competencies. there are 4 levels of exams in a year — mid-terms, “send-ups,” etc. Some students feel the curriculum is stressful.
