Amch is a newly built medical college so far this college has achieved a lot in academics. In mbbs it's just about how you understand and learns stuff our tecahers are one of the best. Much will surely achieve great heights in future.

Campus Life

Poor clubs are there in our college we are not happy at all with our teachers and faculty. Because of our low co-curricular activities, we are again bored on campus. We need urgent attention from our faculty and staff to provide us best.

Hostel Facilities

Poor hostel facilty. Again amch lacks poor hostel accomodation with such high hostel Price. Poor food in mess is a. Big deal . As we offer such a high fees then we should at least have half of what we paid

As compared to other medical colleges. Adehs medical college and hospital is the top in haryana in merit wise. Every proff exams topper is from our college at least in the top 5 like this year too fatima secured 5 position

Our tecahers is one of best at teaching as compared to other private colleges and we also experience a good environment about out medical field. As doctors we learn a lot from books so standard books is very important

A brief review of AIIMS , Bathinda by a student studying there

Likes

Teachers have a lot of knowledge and are very supportive.
Busy opd , hence enough number of patients for practical studies.
Reaserch is very much promoted and supported.

Dislikes

There is no proper sports complex yet .
There is no gym in campus , for gym we have to go out of the campus.
There is no college fest of our college.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Since we all know MBBS is course for being a doctor . As being doctor was a dream of mine i chosed this course.MBBS course is quite hectic but this is required since after completion of course we will become doctors and patients like will be in our hands. Frequency and timing of exams is already discussed in previous question.

The curriculum is based on nmc which makes mbbs being divided into 3 phases : part 1, part 2 and part 3. Part 3 is subdivided into 2 phases. Though the curriculum is extensive and meticulous but it is purely dependant on the learning potential of the individual

Cmc - a feeling in itself

Likes

Academics are very good along with proper clinical teaching lectures and simulation based teaching. Patient load is good. All the clinicals skills required at mbbs level are taught properly.
There are various extra-curricular activities which take place in college. Many cultural events are organized by college and student bodies every month which gives an holistic development experience
Sports facilities are also there which are very good.

Dislikes

Infrastructure is very old and needs repair
Many faculty members are leaving leading to less good professors in the college
Patient load is decreasing day by day resulting in less clinical exposure

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum followed in our college is CBME based curriculum. Our college was one such college which conrributed tremendously in developing this type of curriculum. It trains you in all clinical skills and provide you with the best doctor skills. Also many soft skills training session our held which helps in developing and training ourselves as good doctor. All the skills are taught on models and patients.clinical training is very good. However , patient load is decreasing which restricts oursleves in seeing variety of patients

The college is very Good and has very positive atmosphere

I would like to rate my college a big 10/10 This course is actually a bliss to me and to all those who get a chance to go for ir The curiculum include alot of practical assessments which make u fit for your clinics and practices The area for improvement is the stress faced by the children due to toughness of the course and frequency of exams There are 4 levels of examinations in one tear first term mid terms send ups final university examination Also some assessment examinations are included with many practical viva examinations

Clean environment lecture theatres are clean well maintained
The institute is fully air conditional and sanitation is well maintained
College canteen is good and OPD services are also good there is good provision for admitting patients

Dislikes

Central mess food is poor in quality and milk provided is watery
Sports facilities are not fully operational
There is no gym in the campus also there is lack of rooms for students in hostel

The course teaches us how to approach a patient showing some symptoms of a disease and how to treat the patient causing him minimum discomfort The curriculum is based on clinical approach and provides good exposure to clinical patients and helps us in treating them

Faculty : The faculty of Gian sagar as per experienced in 1st year of Mbbs is very caring and very talented. They take as many tests they can and make the student learn.
Learning facility : The teachers make digital slides.
Personal skill development : Every student is personally approached.

Too much syllabus : The mbbs course has a lot of syllabus to cover

The MBBS course is a very vast course . Syllabus is too much to handle . The curriculum prepares us for the practical approach like Anatomy , we have Dhall for cadaver dissection and osteology . We can see real life radiography.

You should pass the NEET exam taken by the government of India. After clearing cut off you can apply for my college through Punjab University ( on Baba Farid's website ) to get information about the application form and dates. The application form is a bit expensive nearly 5 thousand rupees. I don't know much about reservation criteria as I belong to the general category.
