Remarks

Not great for bscit. Could've got so much knowledge from the subjects but all we had to do was write assignments everyday, no proper practicals. Wasted 3 years where I could've studied from a college that actually believed knowledge is more important than marks.

Course Curriculum Overview

2.5

The course had few subjects which our teacher didn't even have knowledge about and it needed practicals but she used to dictate the coding part. They main thing is in IT field there must be more practical knowledge which was not given enough in the course. The exam structure mostly included written and marks from writing loads of assignments which carried hardly 5 marks.

Placement Experience

0.5

When I graduated, only one company came which was taking students was Telecon job and not anything remotely related to IT. So please do not expect job opportunities from the college. Also while orientation we were told that big companies like Tcs, Wipro come here and provide jobs but nothing happened in the last year.

College Events

2

There is a main event called Spectrum. Then there are small events carried out by each departments where they keep some fun games. Nothing great as it is a small area. They even charge for DJ from their own college students which are expensive as well so half of the people never participate in any of them.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is very high for open category compared to people having a caste certificate. For open category it was around 30k but for caste it was 2-3k. So it is quite expensive for a middle class person.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarship for people with caste, nothing for open category. We were not told about any loan facilities or such. If you have a caste certificate you can use the various scholarships. I am not familiar with the process of scholarship as I was from open category.

Campus Life

2.5

Not at all great. They have a small playground. That's it. There is a computer lab for us. It is not that big to accommodate a single class. Activities are conducted at the fest time. Even sports events are carried out during the fest.

Alumni/Alumna

No network with anyone. Everyone was busy with themselves. The seniors were not helpful at our time. Maybe the time must've changed for now. But we didn't get any much of help from out college seniors.

Admission

As I had more marks in Math I got through the first merit list. Then I was supposed to go to the college fill out forms stand in the queue and pay the fees through cheque and it was done. It was an easy process the faculty were there to help.

Faculty

2

The faculty of our college are not that bad just the people working under them like the people that work in the counter can be a little rude instead of doing their work in time. They work like they have a government job, they act all lazy. No good. But the teaching staff is good.

Placement Experience:

After taking admission in the college, the placement drive is started for the student immediately from the second semester. All the information about which is sent to the class wise group and if the student is eligible, you can apply immediately after seeing your experience. The experience is very beautiful. You learn new things. You also understand how the interview round is conducted and what the eligibility is. Most of the companies that come to the college include renowned companies like Microsoft, Infosys, TCS, Deollite, etc., which hire students. The biggest package of Rs 7 crore per NM has been given so far from Sandeep University in the entire Nashik district.Which is a matter of great pride. Sandeep University is the only college where the largest job fair seminar in Maharashtra is attended. In which students from all over Maharashtra come and give live interviews to companies that have come to the college, give their region and announce hiring on the spot. Therefore, this college provides the greatest opportunity for students to meet all the renowned companies under one roof in one place. During the interview, the student's critical thinking skills and his/her inclination are shown rather than CGP and marks to determine whether he/she is eligible or not. In my experience, the college provides such strong education that at least four students are placed in companies every week. I am currently completing my graduation and will be starting my career immediately after that.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have been thoroughly impressed with the course curriculum for its relevance and comprehensive approach to both theory and practice. One major aspect that influenced my decision to choose this course was its emphasis on practical application and real-world problem solving. The curriculum integrates current industry trends and case studies, which immediately appealed to me because it offers not only theoretical knowledge but also valuable hands-on experiences. The structure of the curriculum prepares students well for real-world applications and further academic pursuits. For instance, the course modules are designed to build a strong foundational understanding while progressively introducing complex topics. This approach ensures that students are capable of tackling challenging scenarios in professional settings and are well-prepared for advanced research or academic opportunities. The practical assignments, group projects, and internships provide direct exposure to industry practices and enable us to apply what we learn in a realistic context. Despite these strengths, there is always room for improvement. The course curriculum could further benefit from increased interactive teaching methods, such as more frequent workshops and peer-to-peer learning sessions. Incorporating regular seminars by industry experts would also add practical insights. Additionally, the frequency and timing of exams sometimes feel overwhelming. Although the exam difficulty level is fair and encourages a deep understanding of the material, scheduling them away from major project deadlines could alleviate some unnecessary stress. Overall, I find the curriculum to be robust and well-rounded. With a few adjustments in teaching methods and assessment schedules, it has the potential to become even more effective in preparing students for both professional challenges and advanced academic endeavors. In summary, the course curriculum excels in providing a balanced educational.

The first few hours of the computer science course are very difficult. You have to understand everything. It is beneficial if you solve the programs in it repeatedly. When a teacher explains something clearly, it will be easier for the student to understand, and it will be easier if the exam is taken at least 4 times a year.
