Mulund college of Commerce review .

I liked that this college is very strict about the decipline. They take strict actions immediately. And no mischief happens here .
I liked this colleges atmosphere and the people . People are very friendly . And the college is located in very prime and accessible located in near mulund rail way station . Bus and railway both are accessiable .
The faculty is great . And highly experienced they faculty are ca , doctor etc . And are very deciplined

Dislikes

I think the campus is quite small and is lacking infrastructure
They don't entertain extra curricular activities to students . Because 75% is compulsory
They are sooo strict about the exam timing that if student is 10 mins late they don't let them sit for the exam .

I think the most need think is to provide a book to the library because they have limited amount of books
Need to make the campus to green and improve the tile of the canteen
Improve the campus thing and also make them usable

Dislikes

There is some duty in the canteen spread on the floor
Some staff are too rude to talk and so the wach a porn
Very worst day to spend a time in a canteen

Likes

The teachers are friendly always there to help you during exams
The quality of education is superb, they track the performance of students through various assessments and exams
Promotes extra curricular activities like conducting presentations as a project work, field visits, etc

Dislikes

the washroom were not maintained, and the office staff were to rude to interact with !
documentation process during admission is poor
poor infrastructure, benches were broken and classrooms were not upto mark

Placement Experience:

From the third year of the course or programme the placement process starts, various companies conducts interviews for the candidates. Last year two students were recruited in Deloitte and 2 students in Asian Paints. Highest package one can expect is around 3-4 lacs per annum depending upon your interview experience.

The college in Mulund

Likes

The faculty of college is very polite and helpful; teaching and non-teaching faculty both
I liked the principal. Shes too polite and gives too much motivation for us to study more and broaden our minds.
I liked the events held here. Spectrum is the name of the event held in december. Here the different days are held like traditional day, saree day,etc. On last day dj night was happened it was too much fun. But it contains.

Dislikes

I did not liked the college premises as it is very small and there is no campus
The toilets are very dirty. They should always clean it.

Placement Experience:

The college provde very good placements from 2.5 Lakh per annum ton4 lakh per annum. The college provide placements in comapnies like wipro, capegemini,TCS etc. The college also provides intership in 5th semester. Almost 60 to 70% of students gets the placements

JOURNEY THROUGH THE REAL COLLEGE LIFE!

The management is good. Staff is really good. The college focuses on student's academics and there are a lot of extra curriculars available for students.

Dislikes

Infrastructure. There is no such campus to roam around.
Sometimes there are no rooms for the students, as a solution they have opted online lectures once a week.

Course Curriculum Overview:

There are many practical subjects. As per my bms... all subjects are oriented towards business and makes us prepare for the knowledge... like business law, business economics, accounting, statistical research, organisational effectiveness, logistics and supply chain mamanagement, commercial banking and financial services etc. Teaching methods, most teachers opt for powerpoint presentations and majorly not use textbooks to reduce rote learning. They ask to refer to the textbooks for understanding the concepts better.

I like the teaching method of a few of professors

Dislikes

The canteen food is not good the canteen was shut down almost more than 1.5 year During our 3 year undergraduate degree
The College has no campus, no infrastructure
The College is very strict than other colleges, after getting autonomous the college has got more strict than before

The course is good and has very much to learn about business, management, HR , finance, marketing, etc. I don't think that they need any suggestions to improve teaching methods. the difficulty level of exam is very tuff and competitive than other colleges

Likes

Due to medium batch size it was lot more easier to focus on studies and due to bit strictness in attendance, students are bond to attend lectures regularly.
The cut offs for admissions are usually high and thats why the students who take admission are good and this improves the people atmosphere around the college
The boys to girls ratio has always been equal throughout and there is always this mutual respect an

There was less support for extra curricular activities such as events, festivals, sports.
There must be some relief in attendance for people who are into competitive exams or are working part time for their daily needs.
The canteen area and the people running the canteen could have been lot more better.

Placement Experience:

My college offered good and quality placement opportunities at the end of the course which includes decent packages as per company standards for freshers or interns. The company which offer placement opportunities are also the reputed ones.

The thing which I liked is the girls ratio is more than boys . This makes feel that development is happening
The teaching faculty is good and supportive towards students and help them with their problems
The thing which I loved it if students lost their belongings the cleaning faculty will be keeping safely and makes record that and handover to the responsible students

Dislikes

The thing I disliked is the office faculty is rude towards the students.
And they will not on the AC for morning batch

Placement Experience:

In our orientation they told us about the placement and they told us that the highest package is 750000 which was offered by asian paints and the average package is 300000. The students are basically select through their ability,skills and marks.

Quality of education: students appreciate the in depht knowledge provided by the faculty
Campus life: Active campus life with various fest including departmental fests and events on various occasion
Infastructure: modern calssrooms with powerpoint facility, extensive libraries and computer labs makes a conducive learning learning

Administrative efficiency: delay in administration process like registration and acquiring approval is frustating
placement support: while some college have robust placement support, others comparatively more effective

According to my cousin who is a graduate of the Mulund College of Commerce, Mumbai the institute is best known for the following factors.

The faculty base is great, and most of the faculty members are quite experienced.
Instead of focusing on theoretical knowledge, the institute emphasizes more on a practical approach, and problem-solving techniques.
The library and sports facilities are extraordinary.
Huge events such as MCC Spectrum are organized in the month of December.

Overall, Mulund College of Commerce has a very good environment, providing great facilities and great learning experiences.
