College review

The attendance criteria of 85%is the major drawback of this college as the decipline around the college makes it more like a school other than a college ,moreover there is always a push and pull between north Indians and south Indians.

The course structure is a bit old ,there are 4 quizzes ,2 internal and one external in a semester.The quizzes contains 3 credit,the test contains 17 credits ,4 credits are awarded from assignment.So ,total the internal examination is of 50 of internal plus 50 credits of external.

Placements are quite good for cse students like 100% but it decrease to 80%for ece ,60 %for eee and for the rest average and for civil only 25% like out of 60 students only 15 are placed in civl out if which 3-5are placed in core company.

Our college has many number of groups around among which non-technical,drama , technical groups are there.Main college fest is halcyon which comes in every even semester it runs for 3 days besides this an kannada cultural fest known as spndana is also conducted every year in odd semester.

The students who are getting admissions through comedk uget have to pay a fee more than 2 lakhs exclusive of the hostel fee which is around 70k of every year but for students who got admission through kcet have to pay a very nominal fee and moreover they also get scholarship out of it.

Yes there is an scholarship provided in our college but it is not for comedk students it is only and only for the local students who belong to Karnataka and have given kcet exam then only they are given the scholarship for the college.

Labs are good but the equipments are very outdated ,the gym is good , stadium is good ,but there is not any extra curricular activities supported by the college as our college demands 85% attendance.One can play any games as an hobby only.

I had opted for hostel in my first year of engineering but I quit the hostel facilities in my 2nd year only because the food which was given to me was not at all good and adequate.Also the bathroom was not properly maintained.

The seniors are very supportive as they have undergone this torture of credit and attendance for 4 years so they are very much supportive to us and it has a good alumni base also and they contribute financially as well to the college management.

For getting into this college you have to give comedk or kcet exam , according to your rank this college will be given to you.No scholarship will be given for comedk students but for kcet students the students will be given scholarship provided they are resident of Karnataka.

The faculty of this college are really hardworking but old now so can't cope up with the present days technologies no one bothers about the students overall development but instead they are more focused on the academics.
