Overall the college management is good and also overall the college is good and teachers are really very good and supportive and helpful.

Course Curriculum Overview

The Course Curriculum is overall good in this college. Several Internal Exams are taken here. As well as vivas are taken here in this college. Regular Assignments are given to the students. Also, Different type of surprise test is taken in our college.

Placement Experience

The placement of our college is well and good. Different types of Companies come to our college. There are different opportunities for internships in our college. Overall good facilities for placement as well as an internship.

College Events

Different types of events celebrated in our college like Guru Nanak Birthday, Fest, sports tournament, dance, drama, Intra college competition, Jodh Singh birthday, elocution competition, Freshers, Antakshari competition and also different events take place.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Only fees are needed for our courses only. No other extra fees is needed other than our courses. Also, fees for first-year is sixty Thousand and also there are no other fees for the other things. The college is good and supportive in these matters and helpful.

Yes, there is an option for the education loan in our college and also there is an option for the scholarship.

Campus Life

The overall infrastructure is good and great in our college. Campus life is overall great in our college. College is full of greenery. The gender ratio is equal in our college. Lab facilities are great here various sports events take place in our colleges and various competition takes place in our college.

Alumni/Alumna

The alumni network and senior students in our college are very much helpful. They are very much cooperative. They guide us in a good direction towards our future.

Admission

I got the admission in this college by giving CET Exam of 2018. After giving the result of CET Exam in the college I got the admission. After giving the rank card of CET I got admission in the college. This is the procedure for admission in our college.

Faculty

Faculties are good overall and especially teachers are helpful and supportive. The overall infrastructure is great. It also promotes students to engage in more activities and sports events. It also encourages different students to participate in different areas.

Placement Experience:

Computers are so vast that masters is mandatory and therefore I have certain plans for that. However big scale IT companies come here and students of Computer science Hons have had placements worth 6-10 lakhs easily. My plans are to appear for the job interviews but not taking any as I want to study more.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum was well-structured, and each semester, there were projects and presentations that also helped to test our knowledge. I got influenced as the curriculum provides us with financial economics, political economics, and Applied mathematics. The level of the exams was decent, related to the course. They could improve in teaching more practical knowledge and projects related to that, instead of only learning in a theoretical way.

Placements and job oppurtinities are less since this is an undergraduate college offwering honours degree. Though there is a placement and career councelling cell that looks over this matter. Placements are offered only in a few subjects, such as industrial chemisrty and computer science. The rate of placements are very high and come with high packages. Though I am not interested in placements, but I have started taking preparations for compititive exams. Such preparations are very supported here, rather than jobs and placements.

I have applied for institute of genetic engineering for the same course BSc genetics but I to admission in Guru Nanak institute of pharmaceutical sciences because they are the only other colleges in West Bengal who provides BSc genetics as their course and I choose this college because this is under GIS group and this is well known in West Bengal. I did not get any rejection from the other colleges I applied.
