B.com. I choose commerce stream because i was interested in accounts. I selected this college because it is one of the renowned college of our city.a

Internships Opportunities

I have a good experience in my college. Few days ago a company visited to our college with an internship. It offer several gener stipend to all the students of our college to take part in it.

Placement Experience

Every year several companies used to come here and offer several opportunities of job for valid students. They also select some of them for their companies which they fit for their firm.

College Events

Not all but very important festivals are celebrated. Several events were also used to be held in the college to celebrate varities of festival with our teachers, parents, students.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is also moderate. It charges 800 per month for B. Com second years students. The college also provide subisidies in fees for students whe belong from lower middle class family and those are poor.

Fees and Financial Aid

My college is also leading in scholarship facilities to those who are good in studies. They provide scholarship which gives several subsidies to a student and the enjoy free services.

Campus Life

The college consisting equal gender ratios. Several parties were also used to held and enjoyed by all. Several religion and several people's of different races are to be seen in campus.

Course Curriculum Overview:

SXC is invaluable to me!

Placement Experience:

Highest package of our program has been 20 lakhs. Companies like EY, DeShaw, ITC, CESC and many others which are multi billion dollar groups were the ones which are invited for placements. Batch size including morning and evening is of 400 students and nearly 200 gets placements in dream companies. Roles of business analyst and accounting are provided and SAP is taught in our college so those who know that gets job easily.

SAJC - From The Eye of a Student.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is of course outdated. Teaching methods are old. No case studies, competitions or project of any sort is there in the curriculum. Although a project of 100 marks is there in the final sem, but I don't think that's enough. There is no practicality in the curriculum and usability in career. The syllabus really needs an uplifment.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is average , I chose this course because I wanted to do an honours degree and I'm from commerce background so my first pick was B.Com . They really put efforts to prepare students for well future , as I said earlier some teachers are genuinely very good helpful supporting and good at what they do . Something they need to approve is the 70% attendance criteria, I think they need to understand not every student is just persuing graduation they are doing some other courses or jobs etc so they can't maintain 70% attendance . The frequency of timing is average

Placement Experience:

In our college generally students get placement before the last semester exam. Lot of companies visits our college and give many placement offer opportunities to the students. The highest package was 6 - 7 LPA and on average it generally ranging from 2 to 3 LPA. About 60 to 70 percent students gets a different types of offer from different companies who visited our college, my plan is also to get a good and a decent package from our College

Management of admission process was very easy and good. No entrance exam is required for admission in this college. Students can apply for admission on the basis of higher secondary marks. Good marks in Bengali and English subjects are required in higher secondary for admission to graduate level in Journalism. Journalism & Mass Communication course fee is 15,680 per year . For admission in this college you have to apply on the official website of the college. The admission process start and end date and all related information is provided on that website. My personal opinion is that there is no need to change the procedures for admission in this college.
