Remarks

CMRCET is more liberal and less strict amongst other CMR Institutes. Placement records have been better here, although placements are common with the entire CMR group. Being far from the city could be a consideration, but transport facilities are availabl

Entrance Preview

EAMCET,SCORED 59 MARKS , choose electronics coz the new whole world is made up of micro prossers, integrated circuts, learning about them is fun in this practical world. moreover, we can choose jobs both related to ECE & IT. So we have more choice for our future. It's easy & intresting too.

Internships Opportunities

No college internship is offered, so no stipend. but i have done intenship out of the college. i.e. in BHEL.

Placement Experience

2.5

The placements are common for all students of the CMR campus. Most of the times, the companies have a criteria of 65% aggregate, and those who do are eligible to sit for the campus placements. The placements at the CMRCET are better than other CMR colleges. About 50-60% surely get placed, and many dont, because they dont meet the eligibility criteria. There are more software companies coming to the campus, as compared to companies from the core fields. To name a few companies, Infosys, L&T Infotech, HSBC Bank and HCL Tech are regular at the campus. The average that IT companies offer is about Rs.3.25Lakh to Rs.3.5 Lakh. The maximum a software contact offered here was Rs.4 Lakh a year. For the core branches, L&T recruits students from Mechanical, and theres Cosmic Circuits, that recruits students from the EEE branch. In all about 6-7 companies hire about 12-15 students for core jobs.

College Events

0.5

The students of CMR College of Engineering and Technology became the State Champions when they won the first place in The Hindu Plus Challenge 2014. The events took place in TKR Institutions. The college organized a blood donation camp.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Rs.35,000 per year for students under Convener Quota; and about 6 Lakh Rupees (for the entire course) for the management seats. Management always try to loot students Good colleges are present only in few cities. Effort will have to be made to provide rural students good colleges. Presently India has a very large share of youth. We have to address all their educational requirements.

Fees and Financial Aid

No good scholarship was availed by me,but my friends availed scholarship from government of telangana as they are economically backward.

Campus Life

4

The ideal college lifestyle dissipates quickly once the reality is reached. Many young adults imagine vivid pictures of what college might be like for them. However, once these young adults mature into independent men and women, and enter into the school of their choice, they soon realize the reality of the college lifestyle. They must learn to adapt to their new surroundings as quickly as possible to accomplish the sought after degrees. Students come to the realization that life is not as easy as they might hope for.

Hostel Facilities

3

Students belonging distance areas live in hostels. Students of different areas, castes and creed develop friendship in hostel. Class differences and differences of rich and poor are vanished in hostel life. In hostel all the students are treated equally.

Alumni/Alumna

The most basic needs of seniors are for: Opportunities for reflection on the meaning of the college experienceIntegration and closure, and Holistic facilitation and support of graduating students' transition to post college life.

Exam Structure

Exams and labs are not too frequent/once in every two months.labs are very chilled out. After my exam, I breathed a sigh of relief. It was over and I felt as free as a bird! Unfortunately this feeling was rather short-lived; I remembered that I would be s

Placement Experience:

From 4th sem itself students are eligible for placements. Although students get access to paid internships from their 1st year itself, just they need some effort. But as NIAT is yet new and no batch has passed out yet so we still don't have the exact placement percentage rate. But as we are getting paid internships from 1st year itself so it's very evident that placement would also be good

No batch has graduated yet so there's no record of placement data yet. But more than 200 students got internships. Also the unique point of NIAT is students gets internships from their 1st year itself. NIAT has connection in the industry also its unique teaching style, this allows 1st year students to get internships. Although there is no pass out batch yet, still many people got placed in good companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My college course curriculum is outdated .As im studying in computer science and engineering,i wpuld love to study about technological aspects and grow as a software engineering but in the course curriculam they teach my about mechanical workshops,There were no practical experience it jsut understanding the concept with theoritical part . i would love lo code but my college wastes entire time by helping with electricals, meachanical basics. i dont think is it really necessary for me understand in all the feilds they think that student should perform in all the fields as im in computer science and engineering student ,They should teach me more about coding and computer ,how it industries works and how these technology enhacning ,the arenot even explore about all these sectos they only teaching me about fundametals of all the subjects which is never useful for my studies . as i am in final year of btech i thought learning and deepdiving into computerscience and engineering subjects is more greater than learning all sector fundamentals,The area they need to improve is removing some of the oudated syllabus from their ciricullum and enhcing with the pratical experience not to teach only theoritical part. they have to teach all the areas with realtime examples. The timings of exams is very good .we do have 2 mid exams and one semester final exams for each sem and the subjects feels meduim level difficulty

Students become eligible for campus placements after their 6th semester. The companies start visiting in 7th and 8th semesters. The companies are not much good and are mostly service based. So the placement statistics are also not much good. The highest placement last year was 10 lpa and the median placement was around 4.1 lpa. The placements were starting from 2.5 lpa. The better option for students is to apply for off-campus placements or start preparing for competitive exams
