I wrote COMEDK and my rank was around 4k. First of all this college is among the best college in Karnataka and the cost of living in mysore is lesser compare to Bangalore.

I did B.E in computer science. The overall curriculum is quote good as needed for the growth of student and it's continously improving according to the need of time. Various new subject are introduced as per industry demands like cloud computing,big data,java and html and various more.

Usually the internship allowed for us is only for 3 days per week. So the list of company is quite less. But there is a chance that soon college will allow 5 days internship in near future. And for the stipend. It ranges from 15k to 40k. Company like Sap labs,Motorola,National instruments,Cisco offers the internship.

The placement is damn good for this college. The number of company visiting the college is very high with the average salary offered being close to 4.5 lakh per annum. And it's increasing every year. Almost all big company visit the campus for placement. Some are regular like SAP labs,Cisco,fidelity,Mercedes,bosch and many more.

The college have one yearly fest celebrated in the month of feb or march named technieks. This is celebrated over 3 days with various event schedule in those days. Each days have dress code or theme. At event various cultural event sure perform like dance,singing and skits. Few bands perform in this fest. Some local bands too perform. Overall the fest is average. But the theme dress make its a worth days. People can try for various games event and also participate in the dance and all kind of entertainment activity.

The fee structure is revised this year. Although it's kinda expensive as compare to govt college but it's affordable. The fee structure for the student coming from comed-k is around 1.5 lakh per year. The people who come thru CET have 40-50 k as fees for a year.

There are no scholarship offered for the student coming from COMED-K. But there are numerous scholarship for the student from CET. College will provide you the document needed for loan. There is bank in campus,syndicate bank which might be easier to pass the loan.

The campus is small in area wise but it's quite good also. The labs are equipped with good technology if not latest ones. Although the work need to be done on lab part and it's improving. The number of events occurring in the college like robotics and all have increased over the last few years and it's quality is also good. You will get a me opportunity to learn and grow if you are willing to put effort for that. There are people from all over India and environment is quite good. The gender ratio is also pretty good. There are almost no problem in college related to gender,religion and region.

The mess is cheap and it's quite good. Although the food is average and eatable. The hostel have TV for entertainment and you can play table tennis and badminton. It's a nice place to make frnds and it's cheap also. Security wise it's good and have some s

You will find the senior to be helpful if are come in contact with them. Staying in hostel or near by college will definitely help u in creating the network.

The exam is according to semester. There are two semester in a year. Each semester have three internal of small portion of course offered in that semester of 25 marks. Out of this 3 internal best of 2 is taken and the student have to acquire 25 aggregate

There is all kind of faculty in college. Some are awesome and some are average. But overall the faculty are hard working and will try to help u as much as they can.
