I had taken AIEEE 2012 for getting Admission in this prestigious top state government college of Uttarakhand.I got 30534 rank, And in my first round of counselling i was alloted Information Technology Branch.I have chosen this branch because of my interest and better academic facility available here.Admissions to B Tech programs are through JEE Mains, admissions to M Tech programs are through GATE score while to MCA program are through NIMSET score. The College is the lead institute in Uttarakhand in the world bank project for Technical Education Quality Improvement Program (TEQIP) and is also the Regional Academy Centre of CISCO (including CISCO networking lab). The college is proud of its infrastructural facilities befitting to modern technological needs.

Training and placement cell regularly informs us about the latest jobs and internship offer in the market.I have gone through my internship in HP Educational Services, Noida.

Placement here is good.Almost all students get placed in reputated companies like TCS , Tech Mahindra , Maruti Suzuki ,Tata Motors , Nucleus Softwares, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd ,Century Pulp and Paper, Bajaj Power Ltd, Bajaj Auto Ltd etc. TCS pays 3.18 and Nucles around 4.5 lakh , Tata, Maruti offers more than 6 lakhs per annum.

Each year we have two big festivals namely ACCOLADE -The Cultural and Fine Art Fest and COLOSSEUM- The Technical Fest.Students from various colleges of North India including IIT, BITS, NSIT, NIT etc comes here and participate in various events.

Hostels here are good.We have a high speed Internet available in hostels, Mess food is more than average.Electricity is 24x7 hours available.Water facility is good.We have geyser installed in each bathroom for Hot water during winters.

Students having O.G.P.A in Top Three in Each Branch can apply for Academic scholarship.Other Scholarships for Minority and Schedule Caste, Poor economic background , Sport scholarships etc are also available.

The gender ratio is good compared to other colleges of the state.In our Branch Ratio is 1:1.Debates are regularly conducted by various socities in the college.National Level Sport event SPARDHA is organized every Alternative year.Robotics competition are there in Technical fests which have a big cash prize also.Labs and other Facilities such as Library can be accessed from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Alumni and Senior Students are very helpful.You will never feel like away from home.They help you in academics, training etc.Every Year College organizes SAMANVAY the Annual Alumni Meet.It is the best opportunity for Students to meet their Seniors and alumni and make contacts with them.I will rate them 9.0 on a scale of 10.

The faculty here are very helpful.You have to submit project at the end of each course, which i think is the best possible way to learn a new thing.Most of the faculty are from prestigious universities such as IIT, IISC etc.
