Remarks

All remarks are not go to positive side. But 80 percent go for positive side. And remaining 20 percent go for negative side. There have no placement or confirmly job opportunity. No exact future. But environment is good.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

This course will so helpful in your future. you can get govt service and also private service. If u want to learn high thn you can. College environment and good teachers are make our life so beautiful.

Internships Opportunities

I'm a sc candidate. After one year I got stipend. For college and bank tie up I got this stipend from bank. This stipend was so helpful for my education purpose. I'm glad to say that my college fully support me and others students in this matter.

Placement Experience

1.5

There have no placement or job opportunities. All candidate have to go outside of the college for job. There have no opportunity for job. If u study higher then u can think about it. And u can get job bye self.

College Events

3

Fresher's program, get together program, annual function, seminar, dance competition, song competition, lecture class, special lecture class, conference, poem competition, art and craft, literatures program.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is good but expensive for middle class family. There have monthly fee and excursion fee's, occasionally fees etc.. and first time admission fees is so high. This fee is feasible for rich family. But not for poor or middle class family.

Fees and Financial Aid

I'm not sure about it. Because I didn't receive any scholarships or loan. But I think it's here also. Some candidate came here far away from Kolkata.. they may be use it. I'm not sure about it's facility.

Campus Life

2.5

Extra curricular activities are football game, racing, basketball game, outdoor games and indoor game also here. There hv a big lab for students and teachers. All are so helpful for candidates. All is so good.

Hostel Facilities

2

I'm regular student. And I was go from home. I wasn't stay in hostel. But i know there has 2 hostels. One for girls and one for boys. Hostel environment is good. Have all facility. Have a secure life.

Alumni/Alumna

Senior students are so good and they have polite behaviour. They always helped me and my friends. I can't speak about them in this time. All senior students are so helpful. They always guide us. Love us.

Exam Structure

In every part had 2 exam. One test and one final exam. Exam structure is good. Examiners are so polite . If you can't pass one subject then you should be give next time supply exam.if you couldn't cover your supply result then cu don't gv u ur final results.

Admission

At first I submitt my documents with college admission form.then they gave a merit list.after that I paid college admission fees. And fees were submit in bank.because college account linked with bank. that's it.

Faculty

2.5

Placement Experience:

People who major in my department usually opt for masters over placement not because of this college but because overall industrial or academic opportunities are better with a pg degree. Masters from this college is not recommended as i have heard so from my seniors. Some of my seniors managed to crack competitives and secure MSc seats at great places. Training and Placement cell had a good coordinator previously but now its almost non existent. Companies do come and hire Bpharm, Mpharm and MSc candidates. Packages are below average. Only Nestle pays well. But if you do well you'll eventually climb up the corportate ladder. From the time i am here i have not heard of any BSc candidate getting placed. Most go for higher studies.

Placement Experience:

The average package offered for such roles ranges between ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package offered to a BSc student is around ?4 LPA, depending on skills and specialization. Overall, around 15–20% of BSc students get placed through campus drives, and many students rely on off-campus opportunities.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum was well thought out as per me but there were subjects that i found absolutely unnecessary. Subjects like history evs and clc were in no way related to my course. Coming to the main subjects Design, Printing, Photography and film and Media Training were absolutely necessary for my course and whilst the faculty for some of these subjects were really bad, some were good. It is also important to mention none of these subjects actually helped us prepare for the real world. Instead internships and freelance helped us more than these subjects could ever do. Exams were held bi monthly to keep track of what we learnt and every 6 months we had our semester exams. Overall if you want to be a media professional INTERNSHIPS AND JOBS WILL HELP YOU MORE THAN A COLLEGE WILL. I am biased on this opinion as my college didnt provide me with the correct guidance and support i needed to make it in the real world.

In case of computer science department, placement is provided at the Last year of M.sc course. Many companies like Wipro, b10x, Tata visited here. Highest package ever is three lakh per annum. 20-40% of the students got placement after completing M.Sc computer science. My plan after B.sc is to pursue MCA.

* It's all about practical knowledge, we are getting from this course and another aspect is if you wants to make your career in research or lecturer then you should go for it. *No changes required in teaching methods but if college will provide hostel facilities and campus requirement drive, then it will better for candidates.
