The college is nice option to choose for bot graduation, PG courses but as our course is recently established lot of scope to improve and management to take immediate action.

I wrote GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) in 2007 and got 1165 rank all over India as NIT's are reputed for fame and placement joined through counselling as standard procedure.

Course curriculum is moderately fine, but some electives has to updated as per the present conditions further the books for study and references are to be recheck also lab & software are area of attentions.

I got internship through my mentor recommendation in a tunnel project as college gives stipend during that time, no additional stipend received from the company. Accommodation and food facilities are arranged got an exposure to the tunnel projects.

Placement opportunities are based on current market, how ever not up to level as expected, L&T, AFCONS & Aarvee associates are offered with 4 5 LPA during that time.

In this aspect NITW holds best, lot of events technical, cultural and other fests are celebrated frequently not for one branch as over all lot of scope to learn through participation based on interest.

Compared to private institutions it is obviously less, how ever the fee structure is slightly much higher at the time of study and have to reduce as National institution, further it is increased much more in recent days.

Since stipend is offering to all the students no additional scholarship is allowed loan can be availed personally for educational purposes.

The campus life is good if you planned to study or enjoy or both regarding extra curricular activities lot of scope to learn and must avail the facilities the above mentioned problems are in tolerance or minimal.

Hostels are one of the best and having 1000, 1800 occupancy capacity with all facilities and continuous maintenance to be done mess food is not up to the mark unable to resolve due to various people all over country.

College is maintaining decent alumna data base and trying to arrange some occasions presently management developed some software to improve the alumni network and further scope to improve especially our branch.

The frequency and level of difficulty are same as of other reputed institutions regular class attending and periodic study are moderately sufficient to succeed.

The main disadvantage of the course are faculty no single faculty specialised in our courses courses completed by other department faculties, how ever they tried up to their level.
