Positive remarks : Good college with experienced faculties. Good placement opportunities for all branches though relatively less for non IT ( mechanical, electrical, civil) Negative remarks. : Infrastructure vows being looked upon recently.

Course curriculum is per Bangalore university and it's quite good. Nearly all course pertaining to engineering domain are offered in this college and the curriculum is better(in depth and bit more vast) than VTU.

No. Internship is not provided or given by college itself as its a government college and gains for students very much depends on their independent efforts they put in. But college has some platforms through which they can add to their experience.

Placements are really good in uvce and as per market standards. That's one of the primary reason I took admission in this college. Being 100 years old college it has got aluminis across all branches.

There are various events celebrated in UVCE just like any other college. The good part about these events is that it is entirely and solely managed by the students without college management involvement.

As I mentioned earlier fee structure is quite feasible in this college. Though it increases by some amount every year, but overall it's less including exam fee and other charges. After all government college guys. :)

Loan facility is not available from college solely but yes they do give scholarship for deserving students. But a student is entitled to apply for all scholarships offered by state and national governments

Extra curricular activities is one area which will depend upon your interests. You can take ownership of anything you are interested in and then create a platform where you can invite others. There will be no obstacles from college management in whatever you do.

This was one area of concern for university visvesvaraya college of engineering but from past 2 years college has progressed in this aspect as well. Buildings have been renovated though not hostels. I hope its on their plans.

Yes the college has got quite appreciable alumini network stemming from higher hierarchy of various organisation and companies. Senior students are quite friendly and I haven't experienced any sort of trouble of ragging taking place in college.

We need to secure a decent rank in karnataka CET in order to secure a seat in uvce. Non karnataka students can try by writing comed -k if they do not fall under clauses required for getting through CET.

Faculties are quite approachable and we'll experienced in their respective fields and streams. Doing projects under some senior faculties will be an added advantage as they have connections with various sources.
