Course Curriculum Overview

I m a 3rd year Metallurgical Engineering student of this college.This course giving me knowledge about the iron production or steel production. Microstructures etc. Exam structure All the papers are consist with 100 marks 30 marks given by college (from Internals, Assignments,External) 70 marks is of Semester (organised by West Bengal Council)

Fee Structure And Facilities

Feasible It is a government polytechnic college named Engineering Institute for Junior Executives.so we don't have to give any fee to our college except tution fee. So fees structure is very much readable.

Kanya sree scholarship(given to all the girl student of our college during their course) Oasis scholarship(for sc obc candidates) Merit scholarship(for good student with good marks with 85%of marks)

Campus Life

Sports-Football,Cricket,Volleyball,Racket,Table tennis Labs-all departmental labs and also non departmental labs are here. Extra curriculum activities-going to industrial visit,arrenging seminars with departmental topics with departmental students.

Hostel Facilities

No, I m not opted for hostel. Because my home is nearby from my college. Our college do not have any hostel facilities.But there are many private mess rooms for students with rent and food .Many students are staying in mess.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

All alumni association members are good and helpful in nature. This network between students and seniors is very much strong.Through them we also get job opportunities and placements very reliably.

Admission

Filled up JEXPO form then gave JEXPO exam which contains 100 marks of MATHEMATICS 50 marks of PHYSICS and another 50 marks was CHEMISTRY.Total 200 no i have to gave.Then I got 2000 general rank and got this college through online counselling.This was the main process of admission.

Faculty

All the faculties of our college are very much helpful and supportive.They helps in our every topics and also helps in our assignments.our departmental faculties are also helpful.we get placement or job opportunities from them also.

You have to crack the entrance exam in West Bengal which is Jexpo to get admission to this college. You have to rank under 13000 to get into this college. Top Placement in 2020 for Metallurgy and Mechanical students.

After 12th I have appeared for the Jexpo exam then securing a good rank and through counselling, I get this college and Choose metallurgical engineering. If anyone wants to join after the 10th they should follow the same process. if anyone wants to join after ITI then they have to appear for the Voclet exam. No age limits are there but your last qualification must contain 45% in science. one day college will ask you to appear for physical verification and at that time you should submit all documents. EIJE is best for Mechanical and Metallurgy students

To get this college you have to score in Jexpo exam for 3 years Diploma program and voclet exam for 2 years Diploma after ITI and as per your last qualification you have to score minimum 45% in science. I have applied few more colleges but i choose it and Metaluurgy department becuase of its placement history and reputation also Howrah is better option for me than going to other areas.
