Reviewing the college

Well, my overall experience in the college is positive as I get good academic culture as well as non academic environment for music and sports. There are many labs for robotics, automation, welding, sensors, designing softwares, 3D printing for the students of the college. These courses are not free but have many merit based scholarships and discounts.

The course is based on DrAPJAKTU Lucknow. A very vast and deep course structure is undertaken with good practical activities involved. The exam and labs pattern is also chilled and very good for learning as well as scoring.

The placements and job opportunities are moderate for mechanical and civil engineering students but great for CS,IT, and EC students. The college do not provide any internship itself but have connections to many government bodies and offer internships there.

The main focus of the college is on the studies. Apart from that many sports events named saksham, technical events in specific departments is being conducted, many cultural events by societies like taal, euphony, sur and goonj take place. Many management events like scrolls a national level event of technical presentation has been conducted.

The fee structure of the college for B.tech is around 8 lacs including hostel and mesh. Each year the academics fees is about 1.6 lacs for first year, 1.4 lacs in the second year, 1.26 in the third and 1.17 in fourth year. With 1 lac fees of (hostel+mesh) if taken.

The college is providing many educational loans with the collaboration of many banks and agencies. Specific scholarships are available on the basis of economically weaker families. These scholars is helping many families alot.

The hostel infrastructure is very good with sufficient space. There are three hostels one for first year, second for (second + third) year with a seperate Sports complex, library, mesh, canteens, gym and TV hall. The fee is around 1 lacs and also seats are few filled on first come first serve basis. Many PGs are there near the college with good facilities and rents near about that of hostel or less. The hostel for girls is beside the faculty hostel for their protection. And boy's hostel is on the other side.

Alumni and Senior students are the most important part of the college as they help the juniors meanwhile motivate them towards their brighter future. Senior students are the main conducting bodies of any events in the college. There is no biasing and ragging activities in the college.

I got admitted to this college by merit list and interview. I have chosen this college because of its studious environment and reputation. The college is very focused on studies as well as overall development of a student.

The college is having very talented faculty. Most of them are PhD holders or IIT,NIT passouts with great knowledge and teaching skills. They are very helpful and genius in their domains. They teach each and every point very clearly and never get frustrated on asking a query twice.
