Although almost everything in college is really good. But there are times where a student coming from school will feel like the management is bit not cooperative, as the things go out of the head. It take time in understanding the new things.

This course is basically professional course after which you can be placed to five star hotels in India and around the world. Moreover you can other industries too like hospitals, BPO, food chains, retail sector as well.

Placements and Jobs are really good in the industry when compared to other private and govt institutes. The this totally depends on individuals performance in the interview and campus placements. Yes, college do arrange for internships, but if one wants to go in property of their choice, college will not have any issues subject to the property you are going is five star hotel.

During span of three years, there are various events which we have celebrated here. This includes various food festivals, annual functions and just fyi we have celebrated valentines day too with our faculties

Although the college is an Autonomous body under Ministry of Tourism, Goverment of India but still the fees is more compared to other goverment colleges offering professional courses. But compartively its Good when you compare to other private owned institutes

Although the college is central government college, but the scholarship is provided by state government. Again the caste based reservation system. The candidates coming from SC/ST background are offered more than 100% scholarships

Institute of Hotel Management, Lucknow has one of the finest kitchen and F&B Service Labs. The Restaurant available in the restaurant meets good standard in the industry. Even other labs are really really good.

No, I have not opted for hostel. As per Board of Governers meeting held only first year boys will be alloted the hostel. Whereas girls of any year can apply for the hostel. The hostel provides rooms on sharing basis.

Institute of Hotel Management, Lucknow has their Alumni association, in which all the alumnis are enrolled where contact details are also shared. Every alumni is free to contact other alumni for any help needed pertaining to industry.

Need to appear for the NCHM JEE, the exams contains Basic maths, English, Current Affairs and Apptitude test. post that colleges are allocated on the basis of AIR (All India Rank) and the preference filled during counselling.

IHM Lucknow has the best faculty of the industry. They are well qualified and experienced persons from the industry, even they have to write exams to be a faculty. Most of the faculties have graduated from the same college. Some are doing their doctrate and some are pursuing.
