Course Curriculum Overview

3

Bcom is course for commerce background students. It generally deals with accounting and finance studies which are supported by other background subjects includes marketing, communication and general knowledge. The exam structure is as follows, First four semester are conducted by college itself and are graded. And the last two semester are conducted by university and are graded as well.

College Events

1

The college celebrates various events for socialising and bringing harmony among students. They had different days to celebrate such as traditional day, tie and saree day etc. The college also celebrated festivals like ganesh utsov and navratri.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The one of the best part of my college is the fee structure. The fee structure was decent as per standards of university and the other colleges around the vicinity. It was very nominal and also the fee structure is different for different categories of caste.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions

The college itself didn't provide any scholarships or loan facilities or may be they provided which I am not aware of but they do help as a bridge between scolarship schemes provided by the government. And they did help us through the process.

Campus Life

1

The college do provided some sports stuff to those who are interested. Also the college used to tie up with certain outside agencies to provide free workshop for the students which actually helps in increasing your skills for practical world.

Alumni/Alumna

Well me being a chartered accountant student was not so college going student so I actually had a very small group of my own class mates whom I used to meet at projects exams etc. Otherwise baring my course all other courses had good crowd.

Admission

I got the percentage above the required criteria of merit list. Then I submitted all the required documents, forms and fees. And then I was admitted in the college. The process is like the same for all colleges affiliated to Mumbai university.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is based on the NEP 2022 which focuses on overall development of students and has major focus on skill development along with theoretical knowledge Of the subjects This curriculum prepares us for various aspects of real world application The curriculum is apt and I think it does not need major changes apart from regular and timely revisions The exams are frequent enough to keep students engaged in studies throughout the year They might not be difficult but are definitely to the topic and are lengthy and need descriptive explanation

I had scored less in my 12th so I applied for Gujarati Linguistic Minority Quota and got the admission here easily and also because I had won many competitions in the past. The best thing of this college is that the classrooms are Air Conditioned and they also have projectors and many extra curricular activities like college fests, departmental fests, etc.
