Remarks

Postive- provides us with good faculty and other facilities with good infrastructure and extra curricular activites, college is too safe with lot od securities. Negative- annual fees is a bit expensive.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

We mbbs third year students are satisfied as of now with our curriculum, from this year mci have changed the curriculum. About the exam: we usually have three internal assesment before appearing for the final exam.

Placement Experience

4.5

Yeah our college provides internship as of now the stipend amount is 10000 for mbbs students who are doing internship and job opportunities are based on experience as I am a third year student will be doing my internship after one more year.

College Events

4.5

Tatvam - college fest, Dussera pooja- during the dussera time a lot of poojas are been done, Graduation day, A lot of conference mainly asclepius, Athulyam, Kannada meet, Mallu meet, Tamil meet, Diwali celebration.

Fee Structure And Facilities

For 2k16 batch its 7 lakhs per year, A bit expensive. There are batches who are paying 3 to 4 lakhs. From 2017 its 14 lakhs and yeah that seems to be a bit expensive and there are govt seats too like for the people who have studied in karnataka, they pay around one lakh for mbbs.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarship during admission time for students who scored top rank And college helps us a lot for getting the govt scholarship. Provides scholarship for students who cant efford much ( fees). We can take students loan to provide our fees. There is a sbi bank situated inside our college( bannimantap branch) So its easy to approach bank here.

Campus Life

5

They are too good. We have seperate labs for each subject and good quality equipments too. Labs are spacious and could accomodate around 150 people Our college supports a lot for extacurricular activities like sports arts etc.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

Hostel services available in jss are really good, there are 5 blocks for girs hostel. The most expensive block is d block. U get washrooms attached to ur room and it feels like staying in flat. Everyday there will be cleaning of the rooms by ayas. Hostel food is purely veg They servs us sweets, fruits and all.

Alumni/Alumna

Our seniors are really helpful. And our college is too strict about ragging so there are no such activities happening here and college is safe. Seniors treat juniors really well and we feel free to approch them to clear our doubts.

Admission

Through Neet 2016 during 2016 we had to apply seperately for colleges we prefer and they created a college list based on neet rank and conducted counselling. Around 3 or 4 counseling were conducted during that year.

Faculty

5

They are really good experienced doctors who teach us. teachers here in jss are really student friendly. we can approach them whenever we want to clarify doubts and yeah clinical postings too, even though some teachers shout at us for not taking case properly at the end its for our bright future so we are satisfied with our teaching faculty

Course Curriculum Overview:

curriculum is designed to be highly relevant and comprehensive for modern medical practice.Early Clinical Exposure is One of the strongest aspects of the curriculum is introducing students to patients in their very second year. The final year of the curriculum—the Compulsory Rotatory Residential Internship (CRRI) is effective it prepares students for the high-pressure environment of Indian healthcare, making them very capable of handling emergencies and outpatient departments (OPD ). Students feel that lectures are still too focused on passive PowerPoint presentations.Rigorous schedule, integrating "Life Skills" or "Stress Management" modules more formally into the foundation course would be helpful. The university exams (RGUHS) are generally fair but require a very high level of descriptive writing and practical precision.
