Course Curriculum Overview

4

Only for the first semester you are in the medical college campus rest 3 semesters you'll be having hand's on training at well reputed IVF Centers. There are 3 IVF centers where you'll be placed. There's a lot of exposure to the subject with a Good training platforms. Yhe college should make some arrangements for students stay during their training at IVF centers as both college(Mysore) and IVF Centers(Bengaluru) are not in same city. The best part is that you only write eaxms twice in the whole 2 year course, however you'll have internals frequently.

Fees and Financial Aid

Per annum fee is 662850 INR for Indian nationals. For forign nationals it differs. The fee structure changes(increases) every year or every 2 years. There is seperate fee for exam, graduation, synopsis submission, thesis submission. There are a few scholarships but I have no idea as I belong to general category

Campus Life

5

JSS is a very huge campus with medical college and dntal college in the same campus along with hostel, admin block, canteen and there's a store where you can buy your stationary and aprons. Te campus is very safe for outside students and is a Anti-ragging community. Any kind of rgging is punishable. There're events and fests happening every now and then keeping your college life lively apart from studies all the time. There's a resting room where you can stay for hours if you don't have classes to attend.

Admission

Admission process is pretty simple, just apply and get approval if the seats are available. Only first 30 applications are considered. As there's no entrance exam you'll be judged based on your bachelor's score. I had Manipal University as my first option and JSS as my second option as these both colleges are very well reputed and have been giving best training, however getting admission into Manipal University is a bit difficult as the cometition is high and lot of students appear for the entrance exam.

Faculty

5

All the faculty are very well experienced and all most everyone are phD holders. But They occasionally take classes and regular classes are handled by students pursuing phD under same department. In my personal opinion I find anatomy department as the best one in the college as the faculty are very supportive, friendly and keep you informed with the upcoming courses. When it comes to internals and exams, the paper and evaluation both are very strict and there's no option for re-evaluation there's only re-totalling option. The exam hall is very huge and almost 8 to 10 faculties are constantly monitoring along with CC TV cameras. There's almost 0 chances to copy answers and question paper does not have any choices. As passing criteria is 50% marks It's a bit hard to clear the oaper but not impossible.

Interview Experience

5

No there wasn't any entrance test or interview but to know about the college I went and spoke with the person incharge of admission department. The talk was good and informative. I personally suggest intrested one's to go visit campus and ralk to professors and join he course

Night Life

5

One can sit and study in the library during night hours and as the hostel is in the same campus you can rom around within the campus till 12 in the night it if you want to go out you'll have to be backinthecampusby around 9 PM. Just outside the campus, you get to have yummy mouthwatering street food. There'll be around 6 to 8 food carts and the bakery nearby has the yummiest cheesecakes and even the coffee shop next to the bakery is amazing. There're a lot of places one can visit in Mysore like the palace, Chamundeshwari temple, venugopala swami temple, KRS dam musical show, Kaveri river backwaters, shri rangapattanam, zoo, karanji lake, botanical garden and many more. Do not miss going to palace during Dussehra.

Other Applied Colleges

Manipal Academy of Higher Education - [MAHE] | Master of Science [M.Sc] (Clinical Embryology)

I didn't get the seat for required course but I got seat for other course
