JSS Medical College and Hospital Mysore Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Only for the first semester you are in the medical college campus rest 3 semesters you'll be having hand's on training at well reputed IVF Centers. There are 3 IVF centers where you'll be placed. There's a lot of exposure to the subject with a Good training platforms. Yhe college should make some arrangements for students stay during their training at IVF centers as both college(Mysore) and IVF Centers(Bengaluru) are not in same city. The best part is that you only write eaxms twice in the whole 2 year course, however you'll have internals frequently.

Curriculum is good it is very knowledgeable and usefull in learning the thing's. The idea of the adminstration is very good in related to curriculum. It helped the most in my personal thing's also totally nice

About course it can be further recognised and it is a new course where it is our 2 nd batch we may have furtherore jobs regarding medical genetics and when it comes to exams it may get be difficult or easy depends on university

The curriculum is very relevant to the course and it also includes very good practicals, the practicals are very relevant and good for real world as it is relevant to course. In some subject there is writing part in practhcal period .

Usually there are placements in our college. If any student does not get a placement the faculty guide us what we can do next like the companies in which we can apply and how we can go further. In my course after finishing the bachelors degree you can further study masters it is available in our college itself or yoj can aplly for companies but if you do your masters you have a better opportunity and high posts for you better career. The course is of 8 semester you become eligible for campus placements in 7th semester. The last year that is seventh and eighth semester is basically practical and lot of projects provided. There various companies are seniors have applied and offered for example the genetic company in Bangalore that is Med gen. The highest package offered is 50000 and the average starts from 25000 placements in college. There is 75 percentage of students getting placements from our college. My plans after getting the degree is to go for further studies and do the masters after that i would like to do job along with my phd, this is my plan after getting my bachelors degree.

Because the course BSC EMT(emergency medicine technology) is a good paramedical course which will get fast placements and very demanding job -The curriculum prepares students for real world applications the internship is enough for that because the internship is so helpful to make the student understand everything because lots of cases are coming to the JSS hospital so the experience will make them very pro

Excellent exams are held every 3-4 months know as internals and in the end university exams.the curriculum prepares you for real world applications but the teaching methods used are useless and ineffective for students it can be changed so that curriculum useless is justified

The course curriculum is according to the CBME guidelines and is followed very strictly in the college. The teaching method is Audio-Visiual with the professor teaching the students with help of powerpoint presentations The exam frequency frankly is really packed, which I believe should be relieved a bit.

Course is exhaustive and requires lengthy periods of studying and lot of effort. Self study is must to excel in this course and in exams. The exams here are moderately difficult. If ome studies properly he/she can easily clear it with ease.

•~I have chosen Bsc Anaesthesia course and this is basically takes place inside the operation theatre and I have interst in medical side so I had opt anaesthesia as my course to study and work. •~The above mentioned course make us to assist the anaesthesiaolgist loading the drugs, monitoring and safety of patient efore and after surgery,and do the technician, nursing work inside the operation theatre. •~ This course basically is 3 years course which has 6 semester each semester gets very difficult level one after other semeste.
