Course Curriculum Overview
The course duration is 4 1/2 year ( including 6 months of internship). The curriculum had exposure to many department of medical field. It covers all the possible areas where an occupational therapist has to work and also provides interaction with the patient thoroughout the course along with a good faculty .The course consist of 8 sem with 2 internal exam in each semester.
Internships Opportunities
There is no internship opportunites available currently . 6 months of mandatory internship is to be performed in JSS medical hospital without stipends. We get opportunities to eork with other departments as well.
Fees and Financial Aid
As the demand for the course increases, tuition fees also increases as well number of intake per year. Current tuition fee is around 2.5 lakh per year exculding hostel fees . There is no stipends awarded for internship
Campus Life
We have fest with includes culture and sports conducted only for allied health science every year. And another fest every 4 years which includes every department or colleges under the institute. The college provides a physical library as well as an e- library for students with n number of books or other materials required. College provides free wifi with smart classrooms.
Admission
The course requires a minimum aggregation of 60% from a recognized board in subjects of physics , chemistry, biology along with english. Application form , fees , dates or other important detail regarding application will be updated on JSS website. NEET exam is not mandatory.
