Remarks

Positive- very good for opportunities. If you are able to create and grab them you will always excel. The college teams -formula racing and robotics team is a great place to enhance your technical skills Negative- professors are biased towards students.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Being a autonomous college the department decides the course and are always open to suggestion. Though there is no guarantee that your suggestion may be implemented. The courses selected are apt and updated. The exam pattern includes 20marks test (T1,T2) (twice per semester) and final (100marks) exam. Total score is T1+T2+ (60%*End Semester).

Placement Experience

4

The training and placement cell is efficient and hardworking. There are a lot of companies and opportunities coming by your way. The only big problem is you will have the worst training and placement officer to deal with. He has a big time ego issue and will create unnecessary problems. The college does provide internship for name sake. These are the ones that include company that include interns as a part of their placement drive.

College Events

4.5

There are a lot of college events coming your way throughout the year. Being a small college consisting of three branches you can enjoy these events exclusively. Collegiate feat consist of technical fest (SPECTRA), cultural fest (SPACE) and Sports fest. Apart from these departmental activities like inter class sports, industrial visit (1day and 10 day), blood donation camp, workshops, etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Government institute have 50% less fees than other colleges. It is feasible and you save a lot. I don’t think there is much to explain in the fee structure but normally engineering fees goes to 1.5 lac per anum. This will be half of it.

Fees and Financial Aid

There no special scholarships. You will be rewarded based on your merits. But you can apply for external scholarships. If you have any caste certificate you can avail for scholarship but that is not from college.

Campus Life

3

Extracurricular activities are available. Clubs like debate, MUN, speakers, etc are there. Apart from these sports team are there. Football, basketball, volleyball, cricket. The best is football club.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

No. Being a localite I did not take up the hostel. I can describe it in few words. The building is old but recently renovated. Rooms are small and compact and common toilets. Like a typical government institute.

Alumni/Alumna

The best part of the college is the bond you make with your seniors as well as juniors. You will have the best seniors and the most helping ones. They will guide you better than some of the facilities there. All types of advices from career to studies. You will get help in all type of fields.

Admission

Through DTE admission process post 12th. Based on your merit you will have to undergo the processes of Government admission process. There are generally 4 cap rounds. But the process is defined every year.

Faculty

3.5

Faculty is mixed. You will find from best professors to the most annoying ones. But that is the story around every college. You cannot get everything perfect. The faculty for some major subjects are awesome. But few professors are such they don’t lack knowledge but lack teaching skill.

7th semester or 4th year makes you eligible for internships and placements. NVIDIA visits our college often i don't know much about the placements as im only in first year but yes the eligibility for the placement is over CGPA which eliminates a lot of students during the placements nearly ~75% of the students get placed (including off and in campus) the other 20% pursue higher studies the other 5% go for start ups

Campus placement has good rate. Most of the students passing out get in-campus placements and some of them go abroad for higher education. The average package here is around 700000 to 800000. Very much reliable in placement perspective.
