Remarks

One of the best best medical college at mangalore. But fewer parts where improvement are required such as basketball court and there must be importance to basketball, attendance shouldn't be sent daily to home.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Exam for 720 marks consisting of 180 mcqs . Out of which biology consists of 360 marks, chemistry and physics consists of 180 marks each. The questions are sometimes very tricky and henceforth becomes difficult to answer however I managed 351 marks

Placement Experience

4.5

Yeas our college provides internship. It has also got stipened for that, under graduates get around seven thousand per month . Post graduates in the first year get twenty thousand initially in the first year, twenty five thousand in the second year and thirty thousand in the final year of their pg

College Events

2.5

Freshers roasting sessions, where freshers get a questionnaire and based upon the way they answer they are given very tough situations to handle. Freshers day, the seven best contests from freshers roasting sessions are selected to the fresher day and one boy and a girl are made Mr and Mrs freshers.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure depends upon the kind of seat that the student opts to take. 1. Govt quota seats are feasible and are easily affordable by many students. 2.private quota seats are quite expensive for few people and quite feasible for few. 3.management quota seats are quite expensive and can be handled by those who have more amount of money.

Fees and Financial Aid

No-one of loan/scholarship was offered by my school for my education, but there are banks which provide loans for students with interests on loan amount. Government of karnataka gives scholarship to the students based upon the region from which the students come from and the social status of students

Campus Life

4

Labs are quite good in our college but the practicals aren't much intrestive as the experiment are done around the afternoon. Extra curricular activities like football basketball, cricket, tennis, badminton are all present in our college . With all sports mentioned above having team of their own.

Hostel Facilities

2.5

Not opted hostel . But As I know about the hostels, the timings are very strict and the hostel wardens for boy's are very troublesome, they doubt alot on students. But the best part of hostels are that students share most of the things among themselves and try to be happy

Alumni/Alumna

Both alumni and senior students are very friendly and are always there to help. We become more closer to seniors and alumni when there's a common game played between the students and the alumni. Even the seniors have a healthy relationship with all.

Admission

Neet ug Is the national level examination for medical colleges, I got my admission done through kea that is the board for admission in karnataka. I got my seat done in the first round of the state counselling and the payment for this was done through rtgs, now I'm happy in my college

Faculty

4

Very good ,student friendly, easily approachable, Amazing, young and energetic, jovial, passionate, complete care towards children, strict, home away from home, like parents, like family, always got our back

Course Curriculum Overview:

curriculum is designed to be highly relevant and comprehensive for modern medical practice.Early Clinical Exposure is One of the strongest aspects of the curriculum is introducing students to patients in their very second year. The final year of the curriculum—the Compulsory Rotatory Residential Internship (CRRI) is effective it prepares students for the high-pressure environment of Indian healthcare, making them very capable of handling emergencies and outpatient departments (OPD ). Students feel that lectures are still too focused on passive PowerPoint presentations.Rigorous schedule, integrating "Life Skills" or "Stress Management" modules more formally into the foundation course would be helpful. The university exams (RGUHS) are generally fair but require a very high level of descriptive writing and practical precision.
