Over time the college has lost its glory that it once had due to a large no. Of political reasons.But the new Director Dr. Dk Singh is working very hard to give back the lost glory and we are moving forward towards it . The college will soon turn into a CFT from a GFT

The latest batches that comes to our college will follow all the curriculum set by JUT(JHARKHAND UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY). We have 2 midsems per semester. Each year has 2 semesters. Best of two mid sem is taken per semester. The syllabus of Mid semester is usually 1 or 2 modules i.e chapters. But for End Semester usually 5 modules is the syllabus. Mid semester consists of 20 marks and End Semester consists of 70. 5 marks for attendence. We also have Engineering drawing practical exams and labs

The placement in comparison to NIT's, IIT's and other famous private colleges is quite low. Placements in Mining and Metalurgy is very good and is almost 100 %. While in branches like Cse ,IT and Ece , College lacks presence of Quality placements. While core branches like Mechanical and Electrical there is almost 60% placements but all the placements are quality placements. And some of them reaching 11lpa packages.Placement of other branches is also good.The college has very high Gate conversion rate. And also many students have qualified CIVIL Services.The ALUMNI BASE of this college is very strong.

We have a large no. Of events that are celebrated in our college. BITAANSH is our colleges Cultural fest and is a 3 day long event. Packed with a large no. Of competitions and performance. SANDHAAN is our colleges Tech Based event again packed with a large no. Of events such as RoboWar ,Robodance. FOYC is the fresher of the year contest between the Freshers and is held between brances. EDM Night- The Dj night , full of all the fun and dance.

This is the section which we Bitaans are very proud of i.e fees. We stand top in the list of ROI i.e Return of investment. Admission fee for general is 7000 while for ST/SC/GIRLS is only Rs 32. The college fund per year is 5000. Hostel fee is 5000 per year and electricity fee is Rs 2000 per year . And mess fee is 3000 per month. We completed our BTECH in almost 2.5 lakhs only while others colleges may take upto 15 lakh

Loan facility is easily available in the State Bank of India which is inside the college campus. And the college acts as a guaranter in the bank for easy access to loan. For scholarships E-kalyan scholarship are easily available in the college itself. And national scholarship can be used but only scholarship can ve availed by one student. Also poor and needy Students get scholarship from our ALUMNI and seniors.

We have a large no. Of labs . And the most important of them is Simon's Lab. Students from IIT Dhanbad come to our college to attend Simon's Lab classes. We also have Chemistry , Physics and Basic Electronic Labs. A separate building as IT/ECE/CSE labs. INCUBATION Centre of National level. Electrical workshop Wooden Workshop Welding Workshop Labs for moulding and reshape metals. And many more. There are almost 12 labs just for Mechanical Engineers for their 4 years. We also have Club ground , Basketball court , Table Tennis and other sports related courts.

We have spacious hostels and there are 4 Students per hall. The are almost 120 Students residing per hostel. There are 5 hostels for first year.The mess is nearby and is tastier in comparison to other college's mess food.The only con is that the distance of hostel to Lecture hall is long but walkable.

The alumini network of this college is strongest of all. The college started in 1950. Our Alumni are spread all around the world. Many of them are at high posts in MNC'S. And most importantly a large no. Of them are Civil Servant. The alumini are very helpful and the Network is very active. The keep on donating the college fund for some or the other purposes. We have Alumini meet every now and then. And the alumini also keep on helping the clubs for raising their fund to organise events.

For getting admission one needs to appear in JEE Main Exam and must be a resident of Jharkhand State. One need to fill the form using their JEE main roll number on the site of JCECE . A merit list based on Jee Main Ranking of all the students applying for JCECE's counseling is uploaded on its site. All the students then have to do choice filling of their desired brances and college. A amount of 400 needs to be paid for applying for e- counseling and 1000 for locking the alloted seat. And then Students need to appear with their allotment letter to the institute alloted to then on the given time and date. Also one can apply for upgradation of their seats.

The faculty of the college is highly experienced and have a great profile. The college is famous for its prestigious faculty. And the college has young sets of faculty with all the technological advancements.
