College is Decent

Poor infrastructure and facilities. Too much focus on useless unnecessary things and less on learning. The values thought by college faculty is good and they prepare the students well for the industry but as I said many of the faculty is lazy and carefree as they are in a government job.

The course is really tough although the theoretical part is not so difficult but there is a lot of pressure all the time from the college for assignments journals there are 6 semesters in a period of 3 years in which the 3/4 semester is industrial training it's the toughest part of the course.

The placements are average the management is not very good they do partiality between students and don't care about average students they allow the students who already have offer letters from a hotel to sit in each and every hotel which is unfair to those who are still trying for their first placement. I did my internship from Jaipur Marriott hotel the experience was good the stipend that I got their was just 1000rs.

The college celebrates all major events including cultural and social events there are many competitions held by the college on different occasions the participation by students is also very good although the students have to spend their own money for some events.

The fee structure is feasible considering it's a government college it's 1 lakh per annum which is around 50000rs for 1semester the college forces the students to make unnecessary expenses in the form assignments, practical exams competitions.

I am not exactly sure about what is the exact system of scholarship/loan in the college but yes the college do provides scholarship to students I am from general category so I don't know much but my friends keep going to the college office for this scholarship purpose.

The extracurricular activities are very few but there is a sports week every year the college has to help the students for getting a nearby ground because the college doesn't have it's own ground it takes part in cleanliness and environmental activities to raise awareness.

I didn't opt for hostel but from what I know the hostel is average the infrared is poor and the facilities and food is pretty average I didn't opt for hostelI didn't opt for hostelI didn't opt for hostel.

There is an alumni event held in the college every year and many of my friends are in contact with many of our seniors. The seniors are helpful and friendly the alumni network is not very strong but few times we got a chance to interact with the alumni.

I gave the jee exam conducted by the National council for hotel management and catering and based on the rank acquired in that exam which was 4659 I got Ihm Gwalior in the first round and in the second round I got Ihm Bhopal then there was a document verification done at the college campus and I joined few days later.

The faculty is very knowledgeable and experienced but very lazy they are not interested in teaching the students and most of the time and they expect everything perfect from the students they put a lot of pressure on the students for useless assignments and writing journals.
