Hospitality Industry is an emerging industry with whole lot of opportunities. IHM BHOPAL is one of the prestigious college in India. IHM BHOPAL has got a rich excellence in academics as well as cultural. Campus placement in the college is very good. Many of the big names in industry have been from here.

Course and curriculum taught in the institute is very much helpful for students to cope up with challenges they would face in the Industry. Syllabus is updated and modern trends in the industry are followed. Faculties at IHM BHOPAL are excellent providing quality education. Digital education is promoted here. Ankita Sharma, Faculty, Front Office Department is very good.

Hyatt Ahmedabad, Industrial Exposure Trainee, 1100?/month. To get an internship I called in HR department. HR took telephonic interview and I was offered internship. Internship is 4 month duration program.

Hotels such as ITC, Oberois, Taj, Hyatt, Radisson, Leela etc organised campus placement drive either at the campus or they invites students at different institute or sometimes at the hotel as well. Retail brands such as Reliance Retail, Aditya Birla group. Fast food chain such as McDonald's etc also hires. On an average a company selects 15-20 students on an entry level. 1 or more Management Trainee is selected as per students capability and excellence in brands such as ITC, Oberois etc. Reliance Retail only hires for Management Trainee program.

The 3 year journey in the College has been excellent. Each and every academic session is filled with lots and lots of cultural activities. Cultural activities are managed by Cultural team that includes faculties as well as students. Institute provides enormous opportunities to nurture talents. A good number of workshops, seminars are organized. Recently the Institute organized an International conference.

For the Students of MP there is a scholarship program called Mukhya Mantri Medhavi Vidhyarthi Yojana. Under this scheme anyone who scores 85% or more(eligibility when I pass out) in 12 MP Board exam, gets full scholarship on fees

Size of the library is small, WI-FI is only accessible to faculties. Labs are well equipped. The Institute lacks in sports facilities, no playground is provided. However in Hostel premises there are volleyball nets, which can also be used for playing badminton. To summarize Institute lacks in infrastructure.
