my college

As I am a newly admitted student of this University, so a lot of things are in future to gain experience. Still in last four months,from my point of view I must say that this University is not so big than other but its students, faculty, curriculum, environment, campus are so good that any one visit here or studied or is studying here miss a lot after leaving this University.

When i knew about course structure and pattern of examination i was quite nervous with little bit happy. The course duration is of 2 years containing 4 semesters. Examination pattern is different than other Universities.100 marks of each paper divided into 25marks mid semester exam,25marks end semester 1st exam,25marks end sem 2 exam and the remaining 25 marks is divided into 5 marks assignment,10 marks term paper,10 marks surprise test.

Yes from seniors i heard that in campus, so many companies come for placement and my seniors also working in various top international companies with good salary. About internship, college provide internship with student can apply at various good Universities and laboratories. These Universities provide internship for a period of two months in winter and summer session with a stipend about 10000.

As we all know in every University so many events are celebrated. In my University as students from various parts of India have joined so festive events are not celebrated,but events like environment day,world health day, mental health day, Swachha Bharat Abhiyan, Gandhi Jayanti , and so many events are being conducted and celebrated by students.

The fee structure is feasible. As in my first semester admission fee is 11820 rupees and in next semesters the fees are about 6000 rupees. After admission fee in first semester there is no additional fees,they collect all fees at a time,so this is a good decision taken by University.

College provide scholarship for the student who scored high in CUCET examination in respective departments.But as far as i know students who joined for post graduate programs can apply for various scholarships like National scholarship, students of Odisha studying in another state can apply for Prerana. Inspire scholarship for University top rank holder, ugc scholarship for top rank holder and so many.

In my college campus there are so many options for sports. In recent days there was kabadi tournament being held in our campus,like that cricket tournament and badminton tournament also being conducted by by University.Also for physical fitness there is a gym in our campus with free of cost. Lab of my department is so good with good equipment and apparatus,and so many modernized equipments.

My seniors are so much helpful,i must share a experience of mine, during my document verification day i don't know anyone here but i contacted with a senior of my state, but he was not there to help me,but he told his friends. I arrived at University 8 pm snd the security gard did not allow me to make entry as i was not a student that time. But my seniors helped me by writing application and on their own risk they helped me to get visitor pass for that night.So this was a memorable experience for me.

Admission process is based on entrance examination mark. There is a common entrance examination CUCET(Central Universities common examination test) for admission into various post graduate courses in Central Universities of india. After declaration of result i had taken part in counseling process of Central University of punjab (CUPB),based on entrance exam mark 1st round, 2nd round selection list uploaded in University site.My name was on 2nd round list , i paid admission fee online afterthat july25th was day for my document verification.After document verification my admission process was completed.

I was also selected in various Universities.But to discover more about physics and to build this knowledge into a strong pillar i required a good University with best faculty. In my University faculty are best,they are highly qualified with abundant of knowledge, as they are directly appointed by Central government.
