Remarks

It is good especially for branches like CSE ISE and circuit branches. Other branches and not so much good as you don't get exposure to placement facilities. The curriculum needs to be updated along with the staffs.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is out dated. The curriculum changes every year but still the course remains outdated. The exam is in two parts as CIE and SEE. Your performance in semester counts for CIE which adds with SEE in final.

Placement Experience

The only good thing is placement scenario. Lots of company visit especially IT companies. Almost all CSE and use people are placed. Other branches also get a high exposure and good companies. The highest package offered this time was 29 LPA.

College Events

There are many student groups in the college. The group celebrate many events for development of students. The college festival is Halcyon which is summer festival and is celebrated in February. But college festival is boring.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is feasible. For the opportunity provided especially for placement the fees are feasible. It is lower in comparison to other colleges in Bangalore. But the fees may be a bit high for few students.

Fees and Financial Aid

There is a director loan facility available in college for students whose are in need of it. This is provided on basis of few paper work. They loan amount has a very high interest rate that makes this scheme a bit profit oriented.

Campus Life

Extra curricular activities are nill. Labs are good and well equipped only few labs have outdated equipment. Apart from that they are good and well ventilated and have facilities like AC. The supply in lab is adequate.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni meet happens every year. But that is not the useful of. Senior students are helpful for refrel and all. Alumni base is much stronger but is not concerned for the students. Only few senior are helpful to students.

Admission

I was admitted by merit list with few rounds of counselling to choose the course. The rank obtained by different exam counts to the available branches to take on. Then there is multiple counseling round to get required branch.

Faculty

Faculty are bad and biased much. They don't have much knowledge about the course. All they do is talk about the Xerox paper they bring. Any doubt or question remain in answered. They teach like just they have read an hour ago.

My College Story

Placement Experience:

Students in my college have a very good amount of campus placements where students become eligible from the final year 7th semester however the placement cell starts training from the 1st year means 1st semester itself like training for aptitude test, coding and mock interviews. Top it companies like TCS infosys, wipro, Accenture, capgemini, cognizant, IBM, tech mahindra mind tree. The campus receives 300+ offers. The average package 8 - 10 LPA and highest package 54 LPA. Every year 90% students are placed. After my degree i am planning to higher studies in abroad.

My College Story

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is generally detailed and aligned with industry Expectations but there is still scope for modernisation in certain areas.Overall i would like to rate 8/10. The syllabus include both theoretical and multiple lab components which ensures hands on learning. The practical labs like programming work and project with learning help students understand how concepts are applied in real work places. A few theory heavy subjects feel outdated and no longer match the current industry demand this could be revised or replaced.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements from the 6th semester, but the overall placement scenario in DSCE for CSE is below average. Not even 50% of students get placed in good companies. Most students end up getting offers from mass recruiters or in sales and non-tech roles. Only a small percentage of top performers get decent technical packages. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Capgemini, Accenture, Cognizant, and a few mid-tier companies visit the campus, but the number of high-package, core-tech roles is very limited. The average package is on the lower side compared to other top COMEDK colleges. Because of this, many students plan for higher studies, certification courses, or off-campus drives after completing the degree. The on-campus placement support definitely needs improvement, especially for technical roles.”

My Experience at College

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placement from the 7th semester. However the training and pre placement started for student from the first year itself like aptitude training coding resume workshops. My Honest College Experience at CIT(Cambridge Institute of Technology)

Placement Experience:

The students who are studying in 7th semester ( final year) are eligible for campus placements but before that in 5th semester there is pre placement training like aptitude everything. Top companies visit for placement like TCS , infosys, wipro, accenture, capegemini, IBM, techmahindra, Mindtree. Average there are 150-250 offers. Average package is 7-8 lpa. The highest package is 54 lpa at botify company. 85 % of students get placed at cse branch and ai amd ml and civil 30 - 50% . Overall 80% students gets placed. My plan is join a top product based company liek google with a good life.

Great college with poor placement

Placement Experience:

Placements are the only bad thing about the college . Average ctc is only 4 lakhs per annum and only handful of students get actual placement.and rest get placed in either call center or training companies

A complete discipline with education

Placement Experience:

The placement are good average packages 8 lakhs highest packages 35 lakhs and the companies include Google ,Microsoft ,service now companies and usually internships are provided as students become eligible for internship after 3rd year percentage of students getting placement 80% my plans still not yet decided

- Talking about me choosing this college over other colleges is because Siddaganga Institute of Technology comes in the top 10 colleges in the entire Karnataka and also has an NIRF ranking below 100. - I had applied various other colleges in Bangalore, but my ranking from KCET was 10,072 which was too high as per the cutoff put by those colleges so I couldn't get colleges in Bangalore and I landed in here. - I didn't get any rejections from other colleges as I had a good ranking in KCET exam along with an aggregate of 93.3% in my 12th. It was just the cutoff of the colleges that made me land in this college and I don't regret being here as I am happy that I am in one of the best colleges in Karnataka. - The admission procedure is simple. If you are coming through KCET or ComedK, then the seats will be alloted by the respective board and these students just come with the required or mentioned documents and just come and do admission in here.
