College review

I think college should give attention to make the college structure better and in planting tree and fresh water to drink and they should focus on providing us some career counseling and internship and other job related information.

I think the course syllabus needs to change.and the examination patterns should be changed as exams are held but the question papers are repetitive it doesn't make any sense because the course is vast and time duration is less and questions are repetitive

In our college there are no job opportunities and placement and internship provided by the college.And it's very sad that very less career counseling related event happens in our college and most of the events are not informed to students

In January college organizes college week and in September college freshman, although the freshman is mostly celebrated within the department not as a whole college fest.but I was lucky as in my study period I was able to witness the diamond jublee of the college celebrated last year.

Fees are excessive as compared to other college and but still it's affordable, in science stream fee structure of per year admission is 5500-5000 depending on practical subject and the form fillup for exams are between 1500-1200 which is half yearly taken although the casual admission fees is much higher than to comparing the other college

I have got MLA scholarship of ten thousand the requirements for this scholarship is you have to be resident of Assam and documents needed for this scholarship is marksheet of 12th and college stump and principal signature but I have never took any loan regarding my studies

I have participated in college week in the cricket team and our team won the gold medal.and participated in singing competition but couldn't manage to get any prize.As a pass course I have chemistry so I have some chemistry labs experience and have done some experiments

I have not opted college hostel as it's infrastructure was in a poor condition and other facilities were very poor but in the period of diamond jublee the boys hostel was painted and some facilities were added

Some seniors are really helpful and I am really grateful to those seniors who helped me in my project and to help me in cricket match and for cheering me. I had no terrible experience in rigging everything was smooth regarding my 1st year

First of all I need to fill a form for admission.Once the formfillup date end after some days in college a counseling were conducted depending on class 12 marks.there were some other reservation like sc St and obc and extra curricular activities and I got through admission in extra curricular activities.

The overall faculty is really good of our department they really work hard for us to teach us and to complete the although sometimes I feel like the faculty's focus is more on 75% attendence than our knowledge.
