Remarks

Well the college management is not that perfect but I would rate it 8 on a scale of 1-10. The exams are scheduled according to the exam controller board of our college. The staff is very nice to us and helpful and reachful when we are needy. The teachers

Entrance Preview

I took JEE Mains and scored 179/360. I took this college because it's one of the renowned college in chemical branch and I took Food Engineering and Technology as my study topic.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course is very good as there is no burden or overload of extra things. The amount of syllabus is fair enough.

Internships Opportunities

Well I didn't get any internship as such because being in 2nd year, I didn't get any such stipends for the same. But we got to know some information about the internships offered in later years.

Placement Experience

3.5

As of now I being in second year, I have heard from seniorites that Average salary is Rs. 7 lac per annum, min package was 50k Rs., and max. was Rs. 25 lac. Well the placement depends on each and every individual. However, company like Cadbury, Nestl

College Events

4.5

Festivals like Vortex, Manzar and Sportsaga are major part of our college. The Vortex is one of the biggest Chemfest in India. More than 500 participants took inter school participation in various events. MANZAR being one the greatest fest of our College is celebrated every year with a new and interesting theme. Sportsaga being the sports culture event of our college includes Marathon, Bicycling for a cause by tie up with certain NGO's,etc. So this is the festivals of our college.

Fee Structure And Facilities

ICT being a government college has fees near about Rs. 56k for open, Rs. 25k for reserved category. Even freeships are offered to certain students. But In the first year the fees for reserved category goes to as less as Rs. 2k.

Fees and Financial Aid

Well there are lots of good scholarships available on basis of merit cum means, out of which I got Sandra Shroff Scholarship of amount Rs. 10k. Many loan scholarships are available from 1 lac. to 4 lac. which can be paid later when we get a job, or start earning.

Campus Life

4

Lots of extracurricular activities take place in our college and many fun events, various days, etc. Male :Female =70:30. 2 to 3 Dj nights are there to enjoy your night, Garba night during Navratri is also celebrated. Various people come from all over India, so many people from different caste and religion can be found in ICT. Some students are rich while some come from average income homes. But all are good to each other.

Hostel Facilities

4

All hostel are in good condition with the facilities of electricity, water, and mess food being fair enough to survive, because we get bored eating the same taste food.

Alumni/Alumna

Well the contact between Alumni and senior students can be established with lots of efforts but all are very nice. No ragging take place in our college. Many alumni provide nice scholarship to needy students. Many of them visit us and share their experiences with us.

Exam Structure

Exams are scheduled conviniently so no worries about the exam. We get enough time for studies though we don't get Preparatory Leave. Even labs get finished in less than 3 hrs. So no worries at all. Though, the exams are continuos without any break.

Faculty

4

The teaching faculty is good enough that you need not join any extra classes for the same.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Soo ever since kid i was interested in bikes this interest was all for me to take this course , my father is very bike enthusiast and it came down to me , i could easily take mechanical and other engineering cause these are common courses which involves automobile , but since i wanted to follow my passion , i wanted to do specialization in automobile itself and DPCOE was offering this course with great facilities and knowledge providing us a path in this lane of career in this field. According to me curriculum prepares us quite well as they conduct workshop which are relevant to outside world where we'll be working. If there were more practical workshops for us to work on would be great cause automobile engineering is all about practicals rather than theoroticals Professor should try teaching in physical part rather than taking lectures and explaining the concept by just words

Yes there is placement cell of STES which is no different than other tier 3 engineering colleges offering a tier 3 average package depending on who is the recruiter. Students become eligible for campus from 3rd year of their degree. Highest package is something around 55 lakhs offered to a computer engineering student, and average is just like I said for a tier 3 college 5-6 lakhs(above or below). Almost everyone gets placed in the company but some might not.
