Remarks

The college is good. The college itself is living history.college help us is many occasions.as per negative I want to highlight about about the hostel coz it needs to be clear. In the end I just want to thank all of them

Course Curriculum Overview

5

My course was quite interesting. We went through 3 tier exam system under Kalyani university. The total is counted on the basis of 3 year's result. The average result of three years is the final result.

Placement Experience

4

The job placement is good. But it is also based on merit. After post graduation students have to qualify NET xm to qualify PhD and then only the become eligible to get a fair amount of stripend. Over all the opportunity is great.

College Events

3.5

We celebrate saraswati puja.we celebrate teachers day.we also celebrate Freshers welcome party. Teachers also help us in these greatly. We get full support from them. And lab assistants help us in arrangements.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees structure is not very much expensive. However it might feel little bit costly during excursion if you are a student of science group. There is special consession for reserve categories like S.C. , S.T. Etc.

Fees and Financial Aid

Although I haven't availed any scholarship. I do know about scholarships. It is given to the pupils with good marks. UnReserve categories however also gets the service sometimes using merit and condition

Campus Life

4

There was a gym in our college. And we also do have a basketball court. We sometime play friendly matches with teachers. We enjoyed a lot during our college days and all thanks goes to sports and friendly nature of the faculty.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

The hostel is not very good. It needs to refurbish. The toilet of the hostels is also needs to get cleaned up. The food provided there also not up to the mark. But the incharge's behaviour is no doubt well

Alumni/Alumna

As being a part of alumni network we always try to help our college. College gave us a lot of moments, memories.so we also try to help the college in every way possible. Not only for college we also keep an eye on every moments

Admission

Through the merit list based on the result of higher secondary examination conducted by wbchse the selection is done. I filled up the form for botany honours. It was an online process. When it was the day of selection I got selected based on my marks

Faculty

4

There were five teachers and 2 lab assistants. The faculty was extremely helpful and in the faculty I'm counting lab assistants too. The faculty sometimes seem quite strict but that was for our own good.

College does provide internship opportunities both through the placement cell as well as department faculty. Semester 5 and Semester 7 students are eligible for placements. Average package is about 5.5 lakh per annum for microbiology course. Although placement percentage is on the lower side majority of students go for higher studies. Many prepare for exams like GATE, IIT JAM, etc.

college placements are good in this college with a number of good financial and consultancy firms coming in with new gen companies as well in the service and sales industry. moreoever getting a good placement in a top financial or consultancy placement requires a POR in a good society as a criteria, its not really required but adds to your chances of getting it. moreover you require to participate in a number of case study competitions for the same as well. my plans after graduation is probably working for a year or two after which i plan on doing my MBA. around 50-60% who apply get a placement.

The college offers good placements for economis. Students in their final year are eligible for campus placements and there is a cell dedicated to placements. Many students do not opt for placements and go for higher studies but many students who opt for it, get placed with decent packages. Many well-known companies visit the campus as well.
